  • “And as he went on his journey, it came to pass that he drew nigh to Damascus; and suddenly a light from heaven shined round about him. And falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Who said: Who art thou, Lord? And he: I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. It is hard for thee to kick against the goad.”
    Acts of the Apostles 9:3-5

Note: A goad is a long pole or stick with a pointed piece of iron fastened to one end. In the strong hands of a loving master, an ox is gently prodded, guided, steered and driven in the desired direction when plowing the fields. When a stubborn ox attempts to kick back against the goad that is causing it discomfort, the ox will actually inflict more pain, driving the pointed end deeper into its flesh.

The Bishop of Rome just “squared off” with Lucifer and his legion this morning.
Please keep him in your prayers. The battle lines are being drawn again in Rome.

Quotes from the sermon on June 1st, 2013:
“The Church is the family of Jesus. The Church confesses that Jesus is the Son of God come in the flesh: that is the scandal, that is the reason why they persecuted Jesus. In the end, [the answer that] Jesus had not wanted to [give] to these, to the question, ‘With what authority are you doing this?’ He gives to the high priest. ‘But, at the end of: Thou art the Son of God? - Yes!’ [He was] sentenced to death for that. This is the core of the persecution. If we become “reasonable” Christians, “social” Christians, Christians who only do philanthropy, what will be the consequence? That we will never have martyrs: that will be the consequence.”
When, however, we Christians tell the truth, that “The Son of God is come, and was made flesh,” when we “preach the scandal of the Cross, persecutions will come, the Cross will come,” and that “will be fine,” for “such is our life”:
“We ask the Lord not to be ashamed to live with this scandal of the Cross. [We ask Him for] wisdom: the wisdom to ask not to be trapped by the spirit of the world, that will always make to us polite suggestions, civil proposals, good proposals – but behind those there is precisely the negation of the fact that the Word came in the flesh, of the Incarnation of the Word. That, in the end, is what scandalises those who persecute Jesus, that is what destroys the work of the devil. So be it.”

First Epistle Of Saint John Chapter 4
[1] Dearly beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits if they be of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. [2] By this is the spirit of God known. Every spirit which confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is of God: [3] And every spirit that dissolveth Jesus, is not of God: and this is Antichrist, of whom you have heard that he cometh, and he is now already in the world. [4] You are of God, little children, and have overcome him. Because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. [5] They are of the world: therefore of the world they speak, and the world heareth them. [6] We are of God. He that knoweth God, heareth us. He that is not of God, heareth us not. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. [7] Dearly beloved, let us love one another, for charity is of God. And every one that loveth, is born of God, and knoweth God. [8] He that loveth not, knoweth not God: for God is charity. [9] By this hath the charity of God appeared towards us, because God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we may live by him. [10] In this is charity: not as though we had loved God, but because he hath first loved us, and sent his Son to be a propitiation for our sins. [11] My dearest, if God hath so loved us; we also ought to love one another. [12] No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abideth in us, and his charity is perfected in us. [13] In this we know that we abide in him, and he in us: because he hath given us of his spirit. [14] And we have seen, and do testify, that the Father hath sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world. [15] Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abideth in him, and he in God. [16] And we have known, and have believed the charity, which God hath to us. God is charity: and he that abideth in charity, abideth in God, and God in him. [17] In this is the charity of God perfected with us, that we may have confidence in the day of judgment: because as he is, we also are in this world. [18] Fear is not in charity: but perfect charity casteth out fear, because fear hath pain. And he that feareth, is not perfected in charity. [19] Let us therefore love God, because God first hath loved us. [20] If any man say, I love God, and hateth his brother; he is a liar. For he that loveth not his brother, whom he seeth, how can he love God, whom he seeth not? [21] And this commandment we have from God, that he, who loveth God, love also his brother.

    Notes:
[1] Try the spirits: Viz., by examining whether their teaching be agreeable to the rule of the Catholic faith, and the doctrine of the church. For as he says, (ver. 6,) He that knoweth God, heareth us [the pastors of the church]. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
[2] Every spirit which confesseth: Not that the confession of this point of faith alone, is, at all times, and in all cases, sufficient; but that with relation to that time, and for that part of the Christian doctrine, which was then particularly to be confessed, taught, and maintained against the heretics of those days, this was the most proper token, by which the true teachers might be distinguished form the false.
[3] He is now already in the world: Not in his person, but in his spirit, and in his precursors.
[18] Fear is not in charity: Perfect charity, or love, banisheth human fear, that is, the fear of men; as also all perplexing fear, which makes men mistrust or despair of God's mercy; and that kind of servile fear, which makes them fear the punishment of sin more than the offence offered to God. But it no way excludes the wholesome fear of God's judgments, so often recomended in holy writ; nor that fear and trembling, with which we are told to work out our salvation. Phil. 2. 12.

  • Maybe SVI is hoping that Pope Francis gets knocked off his ass?
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

Dear Zeitun, Marlelar, donkath, and Tiffany,

Francis, Bishop of Rome, finally revealed whose "team" he is on.  He is not for the "mystic Christ"; or any other such lies and deceit that we have "heard and seen" coming from Rome.  He is FOR the REAL CHRIST, Jesus Christ who IS True God and True Man, come in the flesh!  (1 John 4:1-3)

Lucifer and his legion (to include souls serving him) will NOT tolerate this Truth.  They despise it because they are anti-Christ.  The Holy Ghost is on the move, please Watch and Pray!!!  Please continue to keep the Bishop of Rome in your prayers.  Pray that he will fulfill the mission given to him by the Immaculata and Jesus Christ the King.

    God's will be done!

    Curtis

    Dear Incredulous,

Quite the contrary!  The Bishop of Rome's enemies are my enemies! (Ephesians 6:12)

May God bless Francis, Bishop of Rome,
and ALL souls who will fight for Jesus Christ the King!

    Curtis

P.S.  I do still have some reservations.  Until Francis, Bishop of Rome, speaks clearly about Jesus Christ's RIGHT to reign socially as King, I cannot put the full weight of my support behind his mission.
Our Lady of Good Success, pray for us!

  • Dear SVI,

I certainly don't blame you for wanting to believe that "Bishop of Rome", Francis, (his preferred title) is a faithful Vicar of Christ.  Unfortunately, the available evidence does not seem to corroborate your opinion of him.  Nonetheless, let us continue to pray daily for his conversion and hopefully, he will perform the vitally necessary Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

  • If he is on Christ's "team" then why does he say atheists will go to heaven?
Christ said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh to the Father but through me." (Jn 14:6).  Francis contradicts this, Francis contradicts Christ.

I do watch and pray, I pray for the restoration of the true faith in the hearts and minds of all who call themselves Catholic, and I watch and wait for that day.

While it might seem like he said that, Pope Francis did not really say that.
The media talked it up to make it seem like he had said that, is all.

What he said was that atheists who do good are redeemed, not just
    Catholics.

That does not mean that atheists are redeemed BECAUSE they do good.
That does not mean that atheists are not redeemed IF THEY DON'T do good.
That does not mean that Catholics by doing good are thereby redeemed.
That does not mean that redemption has anything to do with our good works.
That does not have any bearing on Purgatory or indulgences.
That does not mean any one of many things like this.
And it does not mean that atheists will go to heaven.

Going to heaven is not the same thing as being redeemed.
Those who go to heaven are redeemed, but so are those who go to hell.
That's right, those who go to hell are redeemed.  But they are going to
hell because they rejected their redemption, even though it is already paid for.

There are 3 words that get confused a lot, especially in the MSM:

    Redemption/redeemed/redeem
    Salvation/saved/save
    Justification/justified/justify

They each describe a different thing.  But there are three words.  When
any one is thought of as meaning what one of the others means, then
    you get confusion.

Replace the word "redeemed" and see how false it becomes: i.e., that
atheists who do good are saved (false) or that atheists who do good
are justified (also false).  But to say atheists who do good are redeemed
is true.  Because everyone is redeemed by the atonement of Our Lord.
But that is only a POSSIBILITY, not an effective reality, inasmuch as our
being redeemed does not mean that we are even members of the Church
outside of which there is no salvation.  So obviously, those who are outside
the Church, such as atheists, even though they are redeemed, would not
be saved, unless they are first converted, believe, and be baptized,
otherwise, they will be condemned (Cf. Mk xvi. 16).

No atheist, as an atheist, can be saved, but is nonetheless redeemed.

Of all these things, Francis picked out the one thing to say that could be
misunderstood and very likely would result in his being misquoted.

Why would he say that?  Darned if I know!  :read-paper:
