    Dear Friends,

I need someone to establish a fundraiser for:

    1. Rebuilding the destroyed chapel of Dagohoy

    2. Assisting our faithful who sufferd from the 7.2 earthquake, then the supertyphoon, and this with the remainder from the construction money.

This appeal should be posted on all our websites, and I will collect the funds when I shall visit all the missions in december, then close the fund. I think it is the simplest and quickest. Romeo of Dagohoy works in construction, that would enable me to put him at work immediately.

Hopefully, as far as our faithful of the resistance are concerned, our four missions of Maasin, Santa Cruz, Hindang, and Ormoc are on a protected side of the island of Leyte. I hear that the villagers of our missions in Bohol have suffered from the typhoon as well. No damage for our 20 faithful of Cebu.

The XSPX chapel of Tacloban has probably been disintegrated, and most of the faithful there may have lost everything. But officially I am the devil for fr Ghela, the xspx pastor, so i can only pray for them. Fr Pfeiffer will be on site ten days or so from now, but i am still teaching at the US seminary until the end of this month.

    I hope it answers everything.

    In Iesu et Maria

Finally! We have an account for the highlighted intentions below.

It had to be set up in the name of one of the faithful as SSPX-MC have no business name in Australia.
So, with the permission of Fr Chazal, I have set this up.

Here are the details of the account:

All you need to do is add a space, then say "remove spaces"

    OR,

This is why CathInfo is not able to act as the anchor point that
it could be for the Resistance.

Note: the word "phillipines" is misspelled -- should be philippines.
Their name comes from King Philip II of Spain.

I verified that the address above, with "phillipines" misspelled, is
in fact the working address of the site.  And if you try to spell
philippines correctly, you won't have any access to the website.

More nuttiness, just like at CI!

It's not just a fluke, the whole thread is that way:

        COR MARIAE
        Announcements/Forum Information/Links
        Special Fund for Phillipines.

    Special Fund for Phillipines.

The author set it up without being aware of the spelling of the country's name.

Do people in the Philippines misspell the name of their own country?????

Good to hear of this. I had been meaning to start a thread to see if there is interest in carol singing in Ireland.

    This is very positive news.

Be very cautious with breathing cold air when you go caroling.

Generally, half the group who goes out in the cold singing comes
down with a sore throat the next day.

  • I guess I will have to be the bad guy again, and wonder aloud why I have heard nothing of the Phillippinos doing something to help the Philippines.

You would think the whole country was wiped out or something.

What about the other 99.99% of the country that remains untouched?

    Did they all declare bankruptcy?

Or has the whole world gotten use to sucking at the teat of America?

Charitable drives are virtuous, and meritorious for those organizing and contributing, and to that extent, I laud the efforts.

But I am wondering why these people can't do anything to help themselves.

Next time there is a tornado in Minnesota, I doubt the UN will be conducting food drops, with Chinese marines setting up transient shelters.

Be prepared, and you don't have to depend so much on others to come to your rescue.

A good topic and valid questions. An Irish example is many Brazilians still arrive here though the economy in Brazil is "booming". The University in Cork for example is encouraging more Brazilians to study there and are supported financially. Languages schools are used to get a visa. It's all a scam.

A step up from the poorer Brazilians brought to Ireland to be the cheap labour for the meat factory bosses.

Charity does begin at home. At the moment here many patriots are trying to help  our elderly folk.

People are or are starting to. Once they start to study the history of money and the root of the problems, they start to seek solutions.

I still believe we should assist this appeal.
