I was blessed to meet Dr. Suneel Reddy in Philadelphia during a resistance Mass the Sunday before Ash Wednesday. He truly is an amazing man and for him to give up his medical practice to become a priest speaks volumes of the good will and grace in his heart.

  • If that is true, the ordination has taken place by now.  However. here is an official announcement stating that it will be held on June 28th:
    http://resistance-australia.boards.net/thread/672/event-ordination-reverend-arogya-suneel-1683

This wouldn't be the first time the resisters have been known to want to be kinda secretive about such public things.  It is very odd.

We'll have to wait and see; where, if and when. I dont know if its a question of being secretive or just plain disorganized. There are SSPX-MC sites on the net, including Facebook, but you won't find a comprehensive schedule of Masses or announcements of events and activities.

I called one of the given numbers and the lady confirmed that the ordinations have taken place, including that of Fr Suneel. May they be for the greater glory of God!

That depends on what "it" is: That announcement (i.e.: the one at the given Web address), accompanied by an image repeating that information in/under the name of the of the SSPX-Marian Corps India, in the flourished script that typifies a formal announcement or invitation, is for an ordination to the priesthood that's to be conferred on June 28th
    • in Tamil Nadu state, in the tip of India, not in the Philippines.

But the names of the ordainee and ordainer
    • are the same.  Curiouser and curiouser.

    -------
Note *: Highly plausible, because it's the Vigil of the feast of Sts. Peter & Paul, thus the vigil of a very traditional date for ordinations or consecrations.

Note #: It seems likely that "ordainee and ordainer" is incorrect terminology, even as Anglicized forms, but I was drawing blanks (I suppose it should be gerund and participle, respectively); a correction on this technical point would be welcome, esp. from one of the former seminarians who're regulars here on CathInfo.

  • There was nothing secretive or anything else like the speculations that are being made here.

Let's try to avoid making rash judgements shall we?

The issue that caused difficulty with this situation was a visa problem, which is normal when one is one of the only bishops in the world openly fighting the nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr along with Bishop Williamson.

You can find more at Reconquista...  http://cristiadatradicinalista.blogspot.com.br/
We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

  • I was informed by Fr. Valan Rajakumar that the Ordination of Rev. Mr. Suneel will take place on August 15th in India. It was planned for June 28th, but His Lordship Bishop Faure was not able to enter India because of some technical difficulty with his Visa application.

The major ordinations to Diaconate and Sub-diaconate of Rev. Mr. Suneel, and Br. John Marie Therese of the Holy Eucharist OCD (respectively) and minor Orders of another young seminarian  was definitely scheduled for June 23rd in the Philippines.   But it would be great to have some photos!
