  • I do hope people will have a word with her when she visits Ireland on 13th October for a conference on Fatima. She is the editor of Catholic Truth.Ask her about her attacks on Fr Morgan, Bishop Williamson and why she wants an agreement with Rome.

Is Joe O' Connell of the Fatima Centre, Cork aware of the attacks on Fr Morgan and the Bishop? Is Fr Sherry, who is also a speaker?

I shall not attend the conference because Mc Keever is speaking. It would turning in to an argument very quickly.

In the past she allowed lies to be spread about friends of mine. They are welcome to their conference but I recommend it be boycotted.

  • I don't really see the need for another Fatima conference this year. There was one last year. Same theme and speakers. It's only a personal opinion but I believe they should be hosting something like the recent Rebuilding Christendom held in Washington D.C. or the the annual Bringing Christ to Our Neighbour event held in England. A better variety. I'd rather attend these type of events than a Fatima conference.

I was at one a few years ago and I found it very easy to adopt a quietist attitude of praying and being good whilst ignoring the social teachings.I prefer events with an emphasis on action. There is a bit more to the faith than praying and being good.

I believe Fatima to be authentic but I am not a Fatimist.

Agreed.  How about a La Salette Conference?

Our Lady at Fatima certainly didn't contradict her La Salette message.  IMHO, one better understands Our Lady at Fatima (and the third secret), when looks to the message of Our Lady at La Salette.

The public message of Our Lady of La Salette was this: don't work on Sunday, don't take the Lord's name in vain, pray and do penance.  This is the only approved message of Our Lady of LaSalette.

Secrets were given to the children by Our Lady.  They wrote them down and gave them to the Pope.  The later versions (at least 6 versions of ever increasing length) were completely condemned by the Church and Catholics were expressly forbidden to believe them.  The Church has never retracted this condemnation.
