Official Statement
From the last few days, we have watched with singular sadness, siege spanks against the SSPX, by anonymous individuals, that are recognized as members of the so-called resistance. The medium used has been the fantastic devaluation of Una Voce Cuba, which if it was an Achilles' heel for the SSPX, and she was udged who as a Traditional liberal entity for their websites: "Non Possumus" and "SyllabuS Errorum".
Although this event is part of the systematic war that these "entities" have declared to the SSPX. We in justice and charity, and as we fell involved, in that we concern, we want to respond in defense of the SSPX.
What constitutes this attack? Simple ... on a misrepresentation, on the ignorance about the basic of the peculiarities of our ministry on the island, and we will not give details and explain to anyone who does not interested in or does not have authority. But anyway ... for ordinary readers ... Everything is a matter of movies! Plot of cօռspιʀαcιҽs, covert actions, joint partnership, firm concordats of egreements, etc. ... all from A Voce Cuba and the SSPX. My God!
Una Voce Cuba and the SSPX are two very different institutions of the Catholic Church by its nature, charisma, history and purposes: one for faithfull and teh other for priests. What unites us? An identical love Work of Tradition. Also worth remembering that in the past we twinned history and present continues to do in the fight for the protection and preservation of the traditional Mass. Michael Davies, great ideologist and president of A Voce International has been the most ardent supporter of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and the SSPX, in his well-known and immortal work.:
• Apologia Pro Marcel Lefebvre, vol. I - 476pp, Angelus Press
• Apologia Pro Marcel Lefebvre, vol. II - 393pp, Angelus Press
• Apologia Pro Marcel Lefebvre, vol. III - 474pp, Angelus Press
Then, just to mention another example, teh Una Voce buildings in Rome, Italy served many times Mons. Lefebvre and Coetus
Internationalis Patrum for meetings ... Being old man Archbishop Econe received with great demonstrations of affection to
delegation of pilgrims from Una Voce France ... And countless examples we could mention ...
Your server, as President of Una Voce Cuba and Director of the Una Voce Informa, and the entire Coetus fidelium Una Voce Cuba, feel a very great admiration and great love for the praiseworthy SSPX, their bishops, superiors, priests, religious, religious, seminarians and faithful. It si not a secret! Is this perhaps sin? Is there any reason for scandal? Can someone judge the deserved admiration or the love? Suddenly, we never imagined that our affection for the SSPX were to annoy someone.
Please excuse us in the so-called resistance are offended by this sincere devotion personal and group, and from demonstrations that have been put out all kinds of conjectures. And I particularly clarified the issue that apparently most concerned about it: SSPX does not raise funds for Una Voce Cuba. If there was some mention about it, it is a mistake or misunderstood. Certainly needed to channel a donation from a bank account in Mexico to Cuba, and therefore Una Voce request help to Fr P. Mouroux, but this help never verified. The text referring to it ventually unusable, went through carelessness or negligence on our part to the pages of the Journal, in view of another future. The evidence supposedly claiming to justify the charge against the SSPX to engage in fundraising for Una Voce Cuba is totally illusory.
By request of the SSPX faithful Cubans visit the island, and this Una Voce
Cuba sees with good eyes and expresses his gratitude Magazine. How not? Do not faithful Cubans are entitled to receive spiritual relief good and holy priests? Is not a good work we have to sustain and maintain? As for the other questions coming, we have to answer to the aforementioned resistance on the particulars of the Society of the Catholic tradition in Cuba, with its particular and unique characteristics, unique in the world.
Please easure yuor words and the caliber of your allegations in its publications ... and the case of Cuba as Christianity suffered as martyrs. You may unwittingly unleash the inner serious consequences for us. Dedicate your battle to evangelize, to save souls, to give glory to God, not to take other people's lives ... defamation and calumny are serious lack of charity. Let's be prudent and consistent with the faith we say we have! What they are doing is wrong. Just move them to the SSPX rancor. Furthermore
Una Voce Cuba is not liberal, not judge people who do not know, please.
With the usual affection for all and the promise of our prayers,
Luis Candelario Javier Dieguez.
President of Una Voce Cuba.
Yassier Masuet J. Candelario
Secretary of Una Voce Cuba.
