  • Did Fr. Pffeifer say two Masses at the same day? Because this latest video, even though it show as Aug. 26th, it is not the original one posted earlier... Different places and everything.

    Just curious.

I watched them both and all I can say is good job!

Maybe the first one was a mistake because it has been removed by the user and
the second one is still viewable.

Judging by the clock on the wall, the "revised" video was a Mass done in the morning. The "removed" video was the 5:30pm Mass from St. Mary's, KS.

Both excellent sermons! Much food for thought.

God Bless and protect Father Pfeiffer!

The "revised" video must have been a Mass in a small room, like in someone's
house, because you'll notice when Fr. prays the Credo, his voice is not loud at all.
The Credo should be loud enough for everyone in the room to hear it, so he must
have been audible enough for that. But his sermon was much louder, perhaps so
that the video could be intelligible. If that is the case, I really appreciate it, because
I would not have been able to hear his words otherwise. There is one part, as it is,
when he describes the Marine taking down his CO after the third time he did a
cadence against Our Lady, when his voice became almost inaudible, but not quite.
Other than that, the rest of the sermon was fine. I know the Credo, but if I did not
know the Credo, I would be unable to understand it from this video.

Still, I wish I could hear the sermon from the evening Mass too...............

From the Far East(Singapore) Thank you Pablo and God bless you and your family. Please convey our grateful thanks to Padre Pfeiller and Fr. Chazal and hope to see them soon. :applause:
"It is impious to say, 'I respect every religion.' This is as much as to say: I respect the devil as much as God, vice as much as virtue, falsehood as much as truth, dishonesty as much as honesty, Hell as much as Heaven."

I saw the video of the sermon from the evening Mass.  It was excellent!  The quote that sticks in my mind (towards the end of the sermon) was about Our Lady of Quito.

Here is the sermon, to the best that my memory serves me:

Father Pfeiffer was saying that we are in the middle of the liturgical year and that is when the devil attacks the hardest.  In the beginning (Pentecost and our baptism), we are all fired up about becoming Catholics; in the end, just before our death (24th Sunday After Pentecost), we are thinking about our final judgement.

However, in the middle of our lives, we fall into lukewarmness.  That's why Holy Mother Church has a warning on the 12th Sunday After Pentecost (the Good Samaratin) and also on the 13th Sunday After Pentecost (the 10 Lepers).  The 12th Sunday (the Good Samaratin) is a warning for both faithful and priests, but mostly for priests.  The 13th Sunday After Pentecost is again a warning for both faithful and priests, but mostly for the faithful.

The one leper who returns to give thanks was a Samaratin; a stranger.  We are only able to give thanks if we have humility.  The Samaratin was humble.  Gratitude flows from humility.

When an organization is young, it tries to spread the Faith.  The priest who got the land at St. Mary's, KS began with one parishioner.  Before he had the land, he went to the company that owned the land he wanted and made a proposal:  That they give the land to him.  He suggested that they re-appraise the value of the land (which they did; it was more valuable) and then take a tax write-off over 5 years or so of the re-appraised value of the land.  The company debated the priest's proposal, and, after 45 minutes, agreed to do what the priest asked of them.  The priest began with one parishioner.  The parish grew quickly.

When an order of the Church, like the Dominicans or Franciscans, etc. is young, they are very vigorous and try to spread the Faith so they can grow.  After about 40 years (sometimes less, sometimes more - the Redemptorists threw St. Alphonsus out of his own order!), they quit growing and lukewarmness (rot) sets in.  The SSPX has remained about the same size for the past 10 or 15 years (? -- can't remember the time given).  The SSPX has been around 42 years.  The lukewarmness has set in.

In the Traditional Movement, people go to Mass for themselves.  They are selfish.  They only think about saving their own souls -- not spreading the Faith.  They've gotten tired of fighting the same old bad guys.  They want to give up.  So they make the excuse they are only trying to save their own souls.

God gives us an answer to this tiredness in the book of Judith.  The Jєωιѕн people had been beseiged by Holofernes for a long time.  They were starving.  The guards on the walls were extremely weak from lack of food and had a difficult time repulsing the enemy.

The priests also wanted to give up, so they TOLD GOD HE ONLY HAD 3 DAYS TO SAVE THEM -- OR ELSE THEY WOULD GIVE UP!  Judith, a holy widow, was HORRIFIED when she heard this prayer.  She told the priests they had sinned greatly before God and that they needed to repent and put on sackcloth and ashes (do penance) to ask God to forgive them for that prayer.

The people did as Judith told them.  Then it took God only ONE day to deliver them from the enemy -- through Judith, a type of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Our Lady of Quito told us that just when things seem darkest; when it seems that the enemy has won, she will step in and crush the head of Satan.  We need to have recourse to her and continue the fight.  Don't give up.  Spread the Faith.

  • Father told me he thinks he had it pulled (he's been very busy). He said he will have it put back on YouTube (I doubt it, again, he is VERY busy) but he said his sermon in Kansas City was the better one. He said he could feel the bad spirit in the room in Saint Mary's and thought because of that he had a better sermon earlier in the day. We don't think thats true but it's up to Father.

I happened to be able to hear them both, and they were both EXCELLENT, so he needn't worry about that, but like you said, it is his call.

We should just be eternally grateful that he even allows someone to video tape them for us!

    Thank you, Father Pfeiffer!

During his fiery Pentecost sermon, dogs were barking during the whole time he spoke.  It was very annoying.
