I am headed back to the seminary to help them out more, as I have done on many occasions. I go because I know that, despite the personality conflicts and the many problems, that it is worth the suffering to see more traditional priests, and to encourage more vocations.

It is my desire to see these missions grow and flourish, such as the fine missions we have here in Texas. Matthew, I want your Mass site to continue growing, and your website to continue informing people about the graces we have available in the Mass and the Sacraments.

Please pray for the priests, seminarians and lay workers at the seminary in Boston. Pray especially for Pablo. Our Lord will not abandon us in our hour of need.

I haven't posted in a long time because I've been extraordinarily busy, between my dad being quite completely incapacitated, getting a house ready for sale, taking care of my family, and unfortunately finding myself back at work temporarily. I come to check Cathinfo every once in a while to be edified or to find some encouragement, and this time, I find this...

There is just one thing that I feel I must interject into this thread.

Fr. Pfeiffer had Holy Mass right in my dad's hospital room just a couple of weeks ago, and guess what? Pablo was there. So, to say he hasn't attended Mass is a falsehood. I refuse to participate anymore in this thread other than to interject this FACT, because I was a witness and was THERE when Pablo attended Mass.

I talked yesterday to a person from Boston, KY who tells me that Santiago is not at the point of death, nor is he in danger of dying.  And, if I understood this person correctly, he never was in danger of dying, though he was ill.

What on earth is going on here?

I appreciate that you are grateful for Fr. Pfeiffer saying Mass for your father. That is bound to evoke many feelings of admiration, gratitude, love...

No one said Fr. Pfeiffer is good-for-nothing.

There is a difference between being there in the room when Mass is said, and devoutly assisting.

There is also a difference between "being there" at a Mass said in a hospital room (what does a non-Catholic or lapsed Catholic do, leave? That would be a bit tacky) and regularly assisting at Mass every Sunday to fulfill one's obligation.

I believe you, but unfortunately (for you) I see no reason to dismiss the testimony of those who say Pablo doesn't attend Mass in Boston, KY.

I know I said that I would not add anything else to this, but I am going to add one more thing.

I'm not speaking for Pablo, but keep this in mind:

NO ONE can look into someone else's conscience. What if he feels that his presence is a distraction and might cause someone to commit a sin during Mass? No one really knows why. Has anyone ever asked him? I haven't. Also, he knelt during the Mass in my dad's room. (not that it was something I was focusing on whatsoever, but I do remember it.) Who is anyone to say he was not participating? I'm not going to presume he wasn't and neither should anyone else.

So sad... All of us knew the devil was going to try to sabotage the resistance in any way he could. Why let him win? Keep your faith! There is a ton of wisdom that Father Bolduc left us in his last recorded sermon. I would advise that people here look it up and really listen to what he's saying.
