The Traditional Roman Hymnal, published by SSPX Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is the standard hymnal used in all SSPX Chapels. On page 285 & 286, one will find the prayers for the pope, Oremos Pro Pontifice. The English translation of the prayer is:

Let us pray for our Pontiff (Name)
May the Lord preserver him and enliven him, and make him blessed upon the earth
and may He not hand him over to the will of his enemies.

At least from the High Middle Ages, as I can find it in the Sacramentary of Innocent III. Probably a little older, though, a better Latinist and liturgist than me (Hobbles?) might answer you question to your complete satisfaction.

How old is that prayer?

It is a translation of the following line in Psalm 40:
Dominus conservet eum, et vivificet eum, et beatum faciat eum in terra : et non tradat eum in animam inimicorum ejus.

Psalm 40 is prayed during the Office of Sext in Feria Tertia, ie: the mid-day office on Tuesdays.

Hence, the prayer is at least as old as King David.
