Ordinations tomorrow morning in Winona

I wonder what kind of propaganda, damage control, and attacks against the Resistance we will see tomorrow morning.

This isn't 2012. Remember a full year ago? The Resistance barely existed. Fr. Hewko was still a member of the SSPX. Today, they can't afford to just ignore the Resistance. The situation is different today.

How many people among the Faithful -- or even among the priests -- will be canvassing the crowd spreading the "Good News" about resisting the new Vatican II orientation within the SSPX?

Like I said, the SSPX authorities can't afford to be passive any more. And indeed they aren't -- just look at Fr. Rutledge's sermon 2 weeks ago in Minnesota. It would seem that the heat is being turned up, and there it will stay until something "happens".

The SSPX will have all their best and brightest propagandists on hand to deliver their own message.

Pray for Friday's priestly ordinands
June 20, 2013
District of the US

Prayers are requested for the seminarians being ordained to the priesthood and diaconate tomorrow, Friday, June 21st.

Tomorrow at 9:00am (Friday, June 21) the ceremonies of priestly ordinations will begin at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Winona, Minnesota.
12 new priests for the Church!

Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta will confer the Priesthood of Our Lord Jesus Christ on 12 deacons, 11 from the SSPX and 1 from the Dominican house in Avrille, France:
Rev. Lawrence Barret (Post Falls, ID)    Rev. Luke DeMeyer (Durham, CA)
Rev. John Hattrup (Mead, WA)    Rev. William Kimball (Syracuse, NY)
Rev. Marc Potvin (Strathmore, Alberta, Canada)    Rev. James Carlisle (Nicholville, NY)
Rev. David Gillilan (Post Falls, ID)    Rev. Otto Keiser (Dickinson, TX)
Rev. Christopher Pedersen (St. Mary's, KS)    Rev. Jonathan Prescott (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada)
Rev. Alexander Wiseman (Post Falls, ID)    Br. Terence Boyle, OP (Avrille, France)

A listing of their First Masses can be found on the seminary's website.
Deacons too!

Demonstrating the steady and continual growth of priestly vocations in the SSPX, Bishop de Galerreta will also ordain 6 subdeacons to the diaconate.
Prayers requested

Please pray for all of these ordinands, that they will utilize the abundant graces received through the Sacrament of Holy Orders and continue to grow in holiness, thus fulfilling the goal of Archbishop Lefebvre: to form true and holy priests.

That's a lot of new priests. I wonder if any of them are sympathetic to the resistance.

It almost seems like they're trying to rub this into the faces of the Resistance. I'm not saying that's what they're doing, but I can't help but get the impression.

We should pray that they always stay true to the Faith handed down from Our Lord and never compromise.
