.

I do hope someone brought their recorder -- maybe Fr. Hewko did!!

But then again, +de Galarreta is sometimes difficult to understand.

(BTW they did misspell his name once in the e-mail:  "de Galerreta"
re: the 6 deacons.)

Any update on Winona? What was said in the sermons? Who was there from the Resistance? Any disturbances? Etc.

Any news yet? Anyone see or speak with Fr. Hewko?

Ordinations went fine. The weather was terrible for hours before Mass up through the first half hour or so of the Mass itself. This necessitated the sacred ministers (including the Bishop himself) vesting in the ordinations tent, which made for a VERY short procession. There was some trouble with the audio too several times.
The Bishop's sermon was very suitable for the occasion. The Bishop preached in Spanish and Fr. Iscara translated.
I did not see Fr. Hewko myself. However, I really don't know what he looks like all that well so I could have seen him and didn't know it.
I didn't sense any tension and didn't see any open conflict. Twelve young men received the sacerdotal powers today. I'm very happy for them and I hope you all are too. Please keep all of them in your prayers, as I will surely do.

Thanks, Cath4ever, for the update.

Regarding prayers for the new priests, I have and will continue to pray for them.

O Jesus, Savior of the World, sanctify Thy priests and sacred ministers!
