We should pray that they always stay true to the Faith handed down from Our Lord and never compromise.

Someone needs to real quick compose a prayer for the new
priests that can be distributed around the premises tomorrow.

It's encouraging to see that Fr. Hewko will be there.  He won't
even have to say anything to make a statement!

    You're welcome.
You know, Zeitun, if you want to make an impression you could
say that he doesn't have to do things himself that he can sub out.

But that doesn't belong in the prayer for the new priests!

O God, Who by Thy most beneficent providence hath seen
fit to grant these new and faithful priests Thy signal grace
of Holy Orders, deign to likewise grant that they may stand
firm in the tradition that has been handed down to them
from our venerable founder, Archbishop Lefebvre - whose
doctrine, like that of Holy Mother Church, is under the effect
of an ever-increasing torrent of vice and deception - such
that they may withstand that pernicious effect that surely
will assault them in their practice of Thy holy ministry.

  • Just a reminder, Fr. Hewko has never received an expulsion letter, or was any ever pronounced, from the SSPX.  He did receive a warning but nothing more. It is right and proper for him to be at the ordination.

Father said that after the Ordination last year, Fr.Rostand immediately "corrected" the Bishop as he sat down, telling him his sermon was inappropriate and divisive.  I wonder if the sermon this year was approved by a review committee???  Perhaps it is broadcast on 2 minute delay to give them time to edit it Ha!

I would love to see the response that Fr. Hewko, still a priest of the SSPX, gets at the ordination.

    Pray for Friday's priestly ordinands
    June 20, 2013
    District of the US

Prayers are requested for the seminarians being ordained to the priesthood and diaconate tomorrow, Friday, June 21st.

Tomorrow at 9:00am (Friday, June 21) the ceremonies of priestly ordinations will begin at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Winona, Minnesota.
12 new priests for the Church!

Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta will confer the Priesthood of Our Lord Jesus Christ on 12 deacons, 11 from the SSPX and 1 from the Dominican house in Avrille, France:
Rev. Lawrence Barret (Post Falls, ID)    Rev. Luke DeMeyer (Durham, CA)
Rev. John Hattrup (Mead, WA)    Rev. William Kimball (Syracuse, NY)
Rev. Marc Potvin (Strathmore, Alberta, Canada)    Rev. James Carlisle (Nicholville, NY)
Rev. David Gillilan (Post Falls, ID)    Rev. Otto Keiser (####inson, TX)
Rev. Christopher Pedersen (St. Mary's, KS)    Rev. Jonathan Prescott (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada)
Rev. Alexander Wiseman (Post Falls, ID)    Br. Terence Boyle, OP (Avrille, France)

A listing of their First Masses can be found on the seminary's website.
    Deacons too!

Demonstrating the steady and continual growth of priestly vocations in the SSPX, Bishop de Galerreta will also ordain 6 subdeacons to the diaconate.

    Prayers requeste

Please pray for all of these ordinands, that they will utilize the abundant graces received through the Sacrament of Holy Orders and continue to grow in holiness, thus fulfilling the goal of Archbishop Lefebvre: to form true and holy priests.

That's a lot of new priests. I wonder if any of them are sympathetic to the

    resistance.

Sadly, that's a lot of souls that are being deceived. Bishop Bernard Fellay, along with Fr Schmidberger,Rostand, LeRoux and their clan, have all said officially and formally, in a well docuмented letter to the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, that they accept the Novus Ordo Mess, that they accept the heretical teachings of the occupants of the chair of peter since 1958, that they accept the New Code of Canon Law, and that , amongst other promises and vows, the mission of SSPX priests NOW COMES from the local Novus Ordo Ordinary.

As Archbishop Mueller stated very clearly, the SSPX Bishops (now ) have no mission in the Catholic Church. They were consecrated illicitly, against the strict orders of Rome, and they remain disobedient to a pope and a Roman Dicastery they have pledged loyalty and obedience to. This crop of leaders ( in the SSPX) is significantly different in orientation and thinking than was the Archbishop Lefebvre.

So, from where are the Holy Orders coming for these men ? From leaders in the SSPX who protest their love of the Novus Ordo and the sodomite presbyters, "bishops", and "cardinals" of the new church of the new advent? Are their orders coming from the local ordinaries-- who have moved heaven and earth to bury the true Mass, to bury the true sacrifice, to destroy all vocations and to merge the "c"atholic church into a one-world religion?
The Holy Orders for these men are certainly not coming from Archbishop Lefebvre, nor are they coming from the Society of Saint Pius X that he founded. The orders are not coming from the Bishops he consecrated-- for those bishops, except one, have seemingly all accepted the church of ratzinger and brogoglio, a church humanistic and marxist at its core, as their new religion. This religion of "pragmatism", of "prudent" capitulation of principles to achieve some nebulous objective, has sold its soul to join up with the conciliar church, a church woth which Archbishop Lefebvre stated he "had no desire" to join.

So, we pray for these souls. They have a chance , now, to escape the clutches of the enemy which has crawled within the SSPX. They can stand like men and request ordination from a true follower of Jesus Christ and the Roman Catholic Church, or theycan forever compromise themselves and accept the meal ticket from Fellay's brainwashed minions.
The evidence is so plane to see. The lies and distortions of truth Fellay and his comrades have strewn the past ten years constitute a towering indictment of his mismanagement of the SSPX, and his herding of faithful souls into the Novus ordo.

I would love to see the response that Fr. Hewko, still a priest of the SSPX, gets at the ordination.

When I first read this, I thought you were saying you'd like to see
what Fr. Hewko's response will be after seeing the ordinations.

Now I see you're saying the response he gets (from others) -

    - I have two things:

    1)  I hope he has a friend with him at all times, perhaps two or
three others who can trade places, but he should not go around
alone, because then there will be no witness to the treatment he
receives from others.  There may be some who are just waiting
for the opportunity to "get him alone" so they can pull some kind
of tactic without being observed, and later they can deny it as
though Fr. Hewko would be making up a story.  If he has a friend
with him, they can't do that, and so therefore, they won't.

    2)  If they are true to their new Moderninst leanings, what they
are likely to do is to ignore Fr. Hewko, that is, pay no attention to
anything he says, as if he is not there.  If he approaches someone
in a situation where that someone is receiving others in turn, for
example, in the most extreme case, the one receiving would turn
away and leave Fr. Hewko's presence.

His purpose in being there is primarily to offer positive encouragement
to the ordinands, to congratulate them, and to greet the men he has
influenced in years past toward the pursuit of their own vocations.

He doesn't need to go on the "offensive" regarding the sell-out of +F,
and he doesn't need to ask anyone pointed questions, even though
he could, obviously.  If anyone there doesn't know what he stands
for, it's their own fault.  His mere presence, wearing a cassock, is
his statement for it speaks for itself.

Of course, there might be someone who sets up a situation, where
for example, two might have a prepared script they will perform in
front of Fr. Hewko, under the pretense of having a conversation with
him.  They could do this after several times they, or others more
likely, have 'snubbed' him, such that they would have evoked a sense
of tension in him or a desire to be recognized.  At that point, saying
their script they had prepared in advance, they could turn to Fr.
Hewko, whose attention they have, and ask him a question designed
to trap him, or to evoke from him a response (like the +W interview)
that would be incriminating, or could be used in that way.

This is why he should have an informed friend with him at all times, so
that a witness can see this kind of thing in action.  Also, the friend
should be extra vigilant not to be distracted by someone, for one of
their tactics could be to draw the attention of Fr's. friend away for
a moment, while someone else does the scheme, above.

Fr. Hewko is coming in to a situation that the Menzingen-denizens
have had several weeks to prepare for, and there could easily be a
team of rehearsed players whose task it will be to endeavor just such
a scenario as that described above.  In fact, it is the kind of thing
that +F could be using to test the effectiveness of particular men,
to see if they are capable of handling planned encounters, and to
test if they are willing to embark on such a thing in order to show
their allegiance to him, in hopes of 'moving up the ladder' to a
position of higher authority in the Society, such as a capitulant for
    the chapters.

The test would be to see if they can pull off a favorable result, that
is, to obtain something useful from Fr. Hewko that can be used
against him, so as to, for example, expel him (they might not have
expelled him yet because they don't have enough of such things).
Also, it would be a test to see if they can be trusted to keep a
secret, and not divulge the fact that this planned scheme had been
rehearsed in advance.  It would be quite a story if one such a man
would break away and offer his testimony to all the dark secrets are
being hidden in the closets of Menzingen.

I would not put it past these people to try such things.  It's the
sort of thing that Freemasons and Zionists use all the time, and the
new leanings of the ExSPX are right down that alley.

But this is all speculation, and I have no specific evidence that any
such thing is really going on.  I'm just offering it as a real possibility
considering all the recent stories to come down the pike -- how could
+F have pulled off the Chapter last year without applying some kind
of clandestine pressure on individuals?  And it is not reported because
the ones to whom it happened have been formed gradually over years
of practice, to keep secrets and to be 'obedient' and follow orders
without too much thinking about what they're doing - blind loyalty -
and you cannot deny that such blind loyalty is being demanded of the
    members of the ExSPX.

Blind obedience never has been and never will be Catholic.

  • The idea of a friend with him reminds me of my ol' Boy Scout days...the "Buddy System", or my time in the military..."leave no man behind".  In lieu of this however, a pair of Dick Tracy Video spy glasses would be nice.  This way, Father can record everyone and everything in secret so peoples true reactions can be captured.

I'm glad he's there and looking forward to an update.  I'm surprised with the new SSPX Website, they didn't stream in live.  Even the Fraternity of St. Peter did that.

And now, I see there is the making here for more versions..........

(BTW, I'm impressed to see the ExSPX has taken notice to correct the
incipient misspelling of Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta's name -- it appears
as "Alphonso De Gallaretta" in the flyer from two months ago.)

    Through our Lord.

O God, by whose most propitious providence hast deigned
to bestow upon these ordinands the infinite blessing of Holy
Orders, do not neglect to likewise protect them from the
deceptions of Bishop B. Fellay and his denizens who have
officially proclaimed their acceptance of the abominable Novus
Ordo Newmass, the heretical teachings of the recent occupants
of the Chair of Peter, the 'New Code' of Canon Law,and that
the mission of SSPX priests comes from the Newchurch Ordinary
inasmuch as it is in open defiance of thy Sacred Tradition.
    Through our Lord.

Most providential and eternal God, Who hast seen it right in all
justice to proffer to the world this conspicuous blessing of the
Society that the venerable Archbishop Lefebvre, thy servant,
founded, we come to Thee in all humility and lowness to beg your
continued providence in protecting these new ordinands from the
malicious lie that would have their orders come to them from the
very enemies of thy Church who now occupy her highest offices.
We beseech Thee to aid them in their understanding, that theirs
is a mission directly from Thee, and not via the sifting screen of
these mercenaries in the faith, these hirelings laden with every
unclean vice and unspeakable foulness, these imposters who are
presently local ordinaries who have moved heaven and earth to
bury the true Mass and the true Sacrifice of thy Son, so as to
destroy all vocations and merge thy Church into the abominable
desolation of a one-world religion. Through our Lord.

O God, who dost correct what has gone astray and gatherest
together what is scattered, and keepest what Thou hast
gathered together, we beseech Thee in thy mercy to pour down
upon Christian people the grace of union with Thee that putting
aside disunion and attaching themselves to the true shepherd of
Thy Church they may be able to render Thee due service.
    Through our Lord.

O God, who hast given us in this time of severe trial in the
Faith of Catholics, the marvelous if not fading heritage of thy
one true Church in the four Bishops, consecrated in 1988 by thy
venerable servants Archbishop Lefebvre and Bishop Antonio de
Castro Mayer according to thy will, and as of old one in twelve
was not clean now it seems the one who leads departs from the
other three, we beseech Thee to find it also in thy infinite
goodness and mercy to likewise give these newly ordained
priests the knowledge that their Holy Orders, not coming under
the express approval of the current leaders of the false conciliar
church of pragmatism and capitulation of Catholic principles
"toward the unknown region" of their subjective fantasy with
which thy venerable servants would have no truck, are Holy
Orders for a holy and pure purpose to serve thine own will and
not the will of fallen man. Through our Lord.

O God, with thy most august blessing and truly gracious
benevolence having bestowed upon us the inestimable bounty
of these new priests ordained to thy service, we pray that
Thou dost not cease here in thy mercy, but that Thou may
find it in thine infinite goodness one small additional grace,
which is, that these new priests may discover the fortitude to
escape the clutches of the enemy that has crawled withing
the SSPX, and stand like men requesting ordination from a true
follower of thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ, lest they would
submit themselves to the meal ticket from +Fellay's
brainwashed minions.  For the pernicious lies and distortions
that +Fellay and his clan have over the past ten years
perpetrated upon the Faithful of thy Church constitute a
towering indictment of his mismanagement of thy SSPX, and his
herding of faithful souls into the Novus Ordo Saeclorum, an act
which we deplore and for which we seek hereby to beg thy
pardon and absolution.  Through our Lord.

  • Unfortunately, I do not see that there would be any such ABL type sermons anymore the way we had known it to be at the ordinations, and at the Seminary in general.  The leadership had made sure that no one will be “ordained” who does not accept the new course of the yellow brick road.  The compromise has been set in stone in the new official SSPX Doctrine sent to conciliar Rome within the 2012 Doctrinal Declaration of “adopted modernism”.

Doctrine had left the “city on the hill”…in substitute for the spirituality of the “city of Vatican II”.

This is the new teaching to be "handed down".  It happened to the 9-other Traditional groups.  It also happened to the present proud-leaders of the SSPX.  The stage of CPR has passed; they are in emergency critical stage within a COMA of Vatican II.  The disease has infected them, and has spread like wild fire throughout their priests, through apathy, silence, and complicity; including their “zombie” faithful.

Modernism is like a mosquito.  If you imprudently “open the front door” to the world without a “screen door” of Wisdom, council, and discernment to guard the entry, the “modernist mosquitos” come in.  Once in, the “enemies”  go about “humming their irritating noises”.  If you do not pay attention to be on guard and get those “parasites” out, they inject you with its “numbing fluid”; then they suck the blood of Faith out of you.

So much of being “prudent”, eh “leaders”…?

What remains for your "prudence" is to go in the corner and wilt...the Faith has been sucked out.

I do hope someone brought their recorder -- maybe Fr. Hewko did!!

But then again, +de Galarreta is sometimes difficult to understand.

(BTW they did misspell his name once in the e-mail:  "de Galerreta"
    re: the 6 deacons.)

Any update on Winona? What was said in the sermons? Who was there from the Resistance? Any disturbances? Etc.

Any news yet? Anyone see or speak with Fr. Hewko?

Ordinations went fine. The weather was terrible for hours before Mass up through the first half hour or so of the Mass itself. This necessitated the sacred ministers (including the Bishop himself) vesting in the ordinations tent, which made for a VERY short procession. There was some trouble with the audio too several times.
The Bishop's sermon was very suitable for the occasion. The Bishop preached in Spanish and Fr. Iscara translated.
I did not see Fr. Hewko myself. However, I really don't know what he looks like all that well so I could have seen him and didn't know it.
I didn't sense any tension and didn't see any open conflict. Twelve young men received the sacerdotal powers today. I'm very happy for them and I hope you all are too. Please keep all of them in your prayers, as I will surely do.

    Reverend Father Jonathan Prescott
    Reverend Father Marc Potvin
    Reverend Father David Gillilan
    Reverend Father Luke DeMeyer
    Reverend Father John Hattrup
    Reverend Father Alexander Wiseman
    Reverend Father Lawrence Barrett
    Reverend Father William Kimball
    Reverend Father Otto Keiser
    Reverend Father Christopher Pedersen
    Reverend Father James Carlisle
    Reverend Father Terrence, O.P.

    Sacerdotes in aeternum. Deo gratias!

  • Thanks, Cath4ever, for the update.

Regarding prayers for the new priests, I have and will continue to pray for them.

O Jesus, Savior of the World, sanctify Thy priests and sacred ministers!
