I'm not supporting Fr. Voigt because I have some personal issues with Pablo -- I don't even know this Pablo in person.

This statement is confusing. What do you mean you do not support Fr. Voigt? He is vociferously condemning the actions of Pablo, and calling on Fr. Pfeiffer to remove himself from any association with him--including having him at the seminary.

I said I'm fan of Fr. Voigt (and I like him) since day one here (you can look at my first messages on the board, oct 11) IFr. Voigt sermons are a blessing to me.

what I said in short was "It's not because I like Fr. Voigt that I'm supporting him on the Pablo issue"

Why did I say that?

Because SEMINARIANS! are more important than my personal opinion on Fr. Voigt or Pablo, whatever that opinion may be.

Just to be clear: Even IF I didn't like Fr. Voigt (and in reality I like him very much) I wouldn't put my judgement on the personal level because the formation of seminarians is more important

How truly sad it is to read such a damning letter.
Father Voigt is a very mild mannered gentleman, and I would think that it took a great deal of anguish to generate the need for him to write it.

You're right -- I've worked with him in person a lot, and he is very mild mannered.

You certainly can't dismiss him as another "hater" or "bad guy" against Boston, KY and/or Fr. Pfeiffer. He worked with them! He said Mass for them all over the country! He donated large sums to the cause!

Of that there is no question , as there is no question that he has been completely truthful and has been done a great injustice.

Fr. Voigt implies that Fr. Hewko vetted this letter, or at least provided corrections. But I have never heard it addressed in any of Fr. Hewko's sermons,  most of which are online. So either Fr Voigt is inaccurate or Fr. Hewko is not not standing up to see justice served. If Fr. Voigt was indeed treated badly, how can Fr. Hewko just let it go? He is ever the mouthpiece for truth, regardless of consequence, so his silence here is deafening.
