Open Letter(s) to Father Pfeiffer?

  • Father Pfeiffer will be doing Mass on Sunday June 16th in Post Falls, Idaho.
My family and I will be attending, and will no doubt have an opportunity to speak with him.

At that time, I will be more than happy to submit to him your letters of recommended changes to the Resistance administration, or notices of volunteer opportunities.

Please PM me with your correspondence and I will print them and present them to Fr Pfeiffer for you.

Be sure to include the following:
    1)  Your actual name, not your Cathinfo screen name, so Fr Pfeiffer will know who he is talking to should he contact you.

    2)  A working contact telephone number with voice mail; sorry, e-mail addresses not accepted.  Father is strictly a phone man.

    3)  Your grievance(s), recommendation(s), or your available dates (30 days minimum) for volunteer work wherever needed for the Resistance Administrative Organization.

If volunteering, it would be wise to include the areas of expertise you have, i.e. construction (with construction crew), cooking, housekeeping, groundskeeping, administrative work, legal experience, web and software design (DBA), etcetera.

Keep in mind that you will not be financially compensated for volunteer work.  I know this will not be problematic to those who truly support the Resistance, and who see where their experience/skills can be of added or of superior benefit than that which is already in place.

I would like to have your correspondence no later than Friday June 14th.  I am very serious about this.  Thanks for your support!

If it's not too much trouble, please hand him this note of appreciation
and encouragement ~ although I know what you are doing is much
more significant.  Still, a word of encouragement might make some
small difference.  Also, I send him three Rosaries for his spiritual
    benefit.  This is war.

    Muito obrigado.   :cowboy:
    ~Neil Obstat.

P.S.  I really appreciate the recordings of his sermons and conferences,
including the most recent from London, with Frs. Hewko and Kramer.

P.P.S. Your avatar is not working right now. It was showing just fine
when I started this msg but now it's a busted box.

  • FYI,

Father Pfeiffer will be doing Mass on Sunday June 16th in Post Falls, Idaho.
My family and I will be attending, and will no doubt have an opportunity to speak with him.

I did post earlier this week that at that time, I will be more than happy to submit to him your letters of recommended changes to the Resistance administration, or notices of volunteer opportunities.

The preferred means of communication to me is still through the PM; forward me your correspondence and I will print them and present them to Fr Pfeiffer for you.

I would like to have your correspondence no later than Saturday June 15th. I am very serious about this. Thanks for your support!

  • Also a reminder to donate! The resistance needs help right now, With the 25th Anniversary coming up, and big things in the works! Their website has a really convenient Paypal system. Every dollar helps, and the one you send could tip the balance in favor of the Resistance. I wasn't able to send a whole lot this week, but I scraped up a few bucks. Lets all try to put our money where our mouths are!

That's right.  Sometimes you need to look to the past in order to negotiate with the present.

  • I don't know why no sane Catholics will offer concrete assistance to Fr. Pfeiffer, but I will say this:

If the Resistance can't find any volunteers among the various states of life (single, young couples, married with growing family, empty nesters, etc.), and is desperate enough to resort to help from eccentric-to-the-point-of-scandalous, devil-obsessed Catholics with a questionable Catholic Sense -- then the Resistance is fooked (to borrow a phrase from the Scottish).

And that fact doesn't make me the least bit happy.

I don't know why Novus Weirdo & Zeitun are so supportive of Pablo anyhow. Maybe Father helped them in the past, and so they feel that by defending Pablo they're defending Fr. Pfeiffer? Who knows.

  • I forgot to add --

There are certainly generous Catholics that would love to volunteer, and some of them have in the past, but can't work with just anyone.

So the lack of volunteers under the current "order" doesn't prove the indispensability of anyone in particular.

    To use another example --

What if you had a choir director that was high on himself -- he wanted to do solos all the time, have the choir sing difficult pieces, and in general was a prima donna?  People might say, "We need to keep him though; the choir is pretty small and no one else is volunteering."

Yes -- the choir is small. But if the prima donna, egotistical choir director were replaced, there would be plenty of volunteers signing (and singing!) up.

  • If I wanted to volunteer time to help the Resistance priests I either would approach them directly or through our Resistance group coordinator.

I would not provide my real full name and my phone number to a stranger.

  • Father Pfeiffer already knows what I can do and where to find me.  BTW, I CAN get along with Pablo, but I'm not sure Pablo can put up with me!
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

I'm sure the current choir director will be fired as soon as a new one is appointed.
