A few points to keep in mind:

1. They aren't making any more of them. The SSPX system of priestly formation -- formerly quite excellent -- has changed since 2003 or so. That's TWENTY YEARS AGO!

2. Even if you are in one of the lucky areas with a good priest, keep in mind you're part of the SSPX Corporate system -- at any time, any given August, they could transfer your priest elsewhere and send in a new priest. Every year, there are more "new style" SSPX priests and less of the Old Guard. Your chances get worse each year; eventually your luck runs out.

3. Even while you have your good priest, he has to work under his bosses, part of the System. He has to follow orders OR ELSE. So even in the best case, it's far from ideal. You will still have real estate/money shenanigans, even if it's 100% from "on high" and not your (good) priest's fault per se.
