  • Here is another "Exclusive" interview with Fr. Rostand:

"SSPX - The Year in Review Promotional :: Exclusive Interview with Fr. Rostand - Angelus Press"

In the YouTube Comment section, it reads:
"In this video we will show you a preview of the "2012 Year in Review" interview series with Fr. Arnaud Rostand, District Superior for the Society of St. Pius X in the United States. This series consists of 4 parts, covering general and specific information about the Society's work in 2012 as well as the goals and practical advice for the faithful in 2013."

Is Fr. Rostand going to "stutter" with non-answers again, or is he going to stand-up to do what is right and apologize?

What is your guess...time will tell; especially since he is going to "drag" it out again in a "4-part" series.

O-hum...I am not going to hold my breath.

My thoughts: more of the same.

  • Fr. Rostand: "My advice for zee faithful is to trust us and stop reading internet rumors and gozzip".

I'm guessing his advice will be something along those lines.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

When you look at the “preview” video, they have “captions” written”

Answers to these and other questions:
    -   Where does the relationship of the Society of St. Pius X stand with Rome?
    -   Is there a crisis in the Society of St. Pius X?
    -   What can be said concerning the widespread confusion about recent events?
    -   What projects and improvements are coming to the US in 2013?
     “in-depth interview coming soon”.  www.sspx.org[
    /i]

Look at the video again; it is interesting to see how “red” his ears are…is that a tell tail sign?  His ears were also very "red" in the other hit piece they put out 6-months ago that didn’t fare well, entitled: “Against the Rumors”.

    Just noticing...

It seems that this topic addition of: "What projects and improvements are coming to the US in 2013?", is just a cover "smoke screen" in order to really get out a re-education from all of the damage that they have caused.

  • Things are getting strange in the SSPX...Now, the priests are implying that if we resent our current poor leadership ( most notably the Sup Gen ) then we're "sede-vacantists"...hmmm...I used to know what sedevacantism was..Now I'm not so sure..

Sedevacantism isn't sounding too bad these days.

In their book (as we heard on Sunday, didn't we?) it all comes down to money for them. The old theme of pay, pray and obey mantra, over and over again.

Yes, sspx is becoming intellectuallyi, spiritually and morally bankrupt.

  • I watched the "trailer" of the interview that seems to imitate a Hollywood movie promotion.  The interview could very well be on our screens now, simple and straight forward, but is being delivered in short bits and pieces for easy devouring.  After all, stupid uninformed people cannot digest such complicated material all at once.

I guess I am just tired of being shown psychologically driven information meant to deliver my mind to a certain position of support.

  • It may be necessary to inntiate deportation proceedings to get him back to France?
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • Since Fr Rostand is so knowledgeable in and faithful to the spirit of Archbishop Lefebvre, perhaps the interviewer in these new videos could ask him what are his memories of that historic day, 30th June 1988, the episcopal consecrations at Econe, when he was a young seminarian...

... Whoops! Problem! HE WASN'T THERE ! He was at home in Paris -tortured, anguished and destabilised by the pending departure of his friends from the SSPX who disagreed with the Archbishop. He was given "time-out" to reflect and was finally convinced by his father to return to seminary in September...

An example to us all - anyone can make a mistake - except that those who have made mistakes like that are normally excluded from certain key-posts afterwards. There is always the danger that they seek one day to justify their past by abandoning that humility which served them well before...

    Just a thought!

Haven't you seen the SSPX's new slogan?

    "We know drama".

In all seriousness, yes, why can't they just show the whole interview at once? I guess, like I said, they just like drama and keeping people on the "edge of their seats".

    Excellent observation, Charlotte NC Bill!

They are employing the well-established Modernist principle of Pierre Teilhard de
Chardin, which is to gradually invoke a re-definition of a standard term used in
Catholicism, by the frequent mis-application of it in a context that is not proper
    to its erstwhile standard use.

It is also a Zionist tactic, to invent new terms that have usefulness for their
agenda, such that by frequent use, the new term can become acknowledged in
common usage, and hopefully become a household term, thus serving their
agenda in the heart and home of everyone.

There is nothing wrong with your understanding of what sedevacantism is,
    most likely.

But the Menzingen-denizens want you to think that by recognizing the evil
that they are doing you are therefore somehow unacceptable.

As if you've become "politically incorrect," or "anti-Semitic":  you're then
    somehow contemptible.

You would therefore become persona non grata.

Think of it like a bunch of teenage girls who run a clique, and can "shun" those
with whom they don't want to associate.
