We should compile a list of outright lies uttered by various District Superiors.

I'll get us started:

1. Bishop Williamson is "persona non grata" today because he has unfortunately "changed" in the past 10 years or so.

2. The problems and discord in the SSPX is primarily caused by Internet rumors and malicious men who get a sick charge off sowing discord in peaceful organizations -- of particular concern are "sedevacantist websites".

3. The letters to/from the 3 Bishops were leaked on a sedevacantist website.

They never name names, but they came closest when he said that a "sedevacantist website" leaked the letters -- obviously referring to CathInfo.

You see? Don't worry about there being any substance to the Resistance, it's just a bunch of sour-grapes, nasty Sedevacantists. It's like a bogeyman. Just like "αnтι-ѕємιтє" is used by the Media to shut down all rational discussion, the SG and his friends use the term "sedevacantist" to destroy the credibility of their enemies.

Once again, you have the pro-sellout group borrowing the Bad Guy's handbook.

It's true that Traditio HAS been posting many things over the past months. But even Traditio claims to not be sedevacantist! CathInfo certainly is not. I don't have statistics, since there's no button for "Sedevacantist" or "SSPX" on the sign-up form. But I'll guarantee you that at least half to 2/3 the membership is NOT sedevacantist.

I think we all agree with Matthew, whether the Chair of Peter is occupied or vacant has nothing to do with being Catholic or the fact that Menzingen and Kansas City are selling the faithful up the river.

I agree with Matthew whole heartly. I can't understand how the priest of the NSSPX can speak lies and yet claimed to proclaim the truth in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Very mind boggling!

A favourite book of mine is AA-1025 Anti-Apostle. The way +Fellay and Company are kissing and hugging 'pagan' Rome and modernism, I supposed we can assumed that they are now numbering : AA-1026, AA-1027, etc.... With Fr. Rostand perhaps.........AA-1030??? literary! and the list goes down to all +Fellay lackies. :rolleyes:

For me, this is one of the most troubling aspects of the entire "Sellout-gate" affair. When you stoop to the tactics of the bad guys, you're no better them. In fact, you actually BECOME one of the "bad guys" in many ways.

I have lost almost all respect for Bishop Fellay, Fr. Rostand and the entire SSPX administration. I also have serious doubts about many of the priests who remain in good standing with the Society (where is their courage and commitment to the founding principles of Archbishop Lefebvre?). Indeed, my family has not set foot in our local SSPX chapel since early June...and we may never return. This, after nearly 30 years of loyal following and generous financial support. I can't believe we're the only ones...

There's a similarity with this politcal propaganda technique and how the Jєωs
use it.

If the Jєωs receive criticism on anything, they typically deflect it by labelling the person an "αnтι-ѕємιтє". That puts their critics on the defensive.

So too has Menzingen contrived the tactic to label their opponents "sedes".
I can't help but think a Dresden bad-boy was invloved in concocting this strategy?
Why? Because as Msgr. Fellay should know... its not Catholic.

I've noticed this also.

On Ascension Thursday the St. Louis chapel was packed for the evening Mass.

On Assumption Wednesday, the same St. Louis chapel was approx 60% empty.

On Ascension Thursday the St. Louis chapel was packed for the evening Mass.

On Assumption Wednesday, the same St. Louis chapel was approx 60% empty.

Gee, this is saying something... 30 years!

How can Msgr Fellay mess things up so badly?

Besides hiring a Jєωιѕн lawyer and financier... he desparately needs help in the
marketing and customer satisfaction departments.

Better yet, he should resign... enroll in an eMBA and let the "Lion of Wimbledon" run the operation.

The halls of the Vatican and Israel's h0Ɩ0cαųst shrine would quake!

Where is everybody going? It's interesting... when new Trad Catholics leave their former, local N.O. Church, other parishoners that remain inevitably ask them where they now go, and why they left. It has been an easy question to answer. But where do we go now if all the SSPX chapels are assimilated into the Neo-Modernist Way? It's too bad that there isn't someone in the SSPX doing damage control. We have to hope that Our Lord has a place for us. Kudos to Matthew for compiling a list of the lies. And as to AA-1025, that was published in 1972, one can only imagine how many communist infiltrators have entered the Church since then.

Besides supporting the SSPX resistance priests,
I think we just have to seek out non indult TLM chapels with validly ordained priests.
Of course, that's getting harder to do.
That is why Msgr. Fellay's "round-up" agenda of the independent TLM priests is diabolical and maddening.

That's right. And that's why forums such as CathInfo are so valuable: Hopefully we can help each other find locations for Holy Mass, and help faithful priests in knowing that they will have a place to go as well.

Ultimately, the laity and priests need *each other*.

Priests don't have material means of support; laymen don't have the spiritual goods that only priests can provide.

That's why BOTH need to know that they are not alone, and that there is a vigorous resistance movement against this new tendency in the SSPX.

In St. Louis, just a few minutes drive from the SSPX chapel is St. Francis de Sales Oratory, it's run by the ICKSP and it's possibly the most beautiful church in the midwest. They may have decided to go there. However, there was a morning Mass too so maybe they attended that. I couldn't say for certain.

Matthew makes a good point about lay and cleric needing each other.

I'm missing something. I haven't seen any threads about Bishop Fellay and independent priests. What influence does he have with Independent priests and what is he trying to do? Thank you.
