I'm going too!

AlligatorDicax,
That is a great idea! But, maybe if all would don Miraculous Medals or Brown Scapulars, that would be easier?

Or, we could paint crosses on our faces? Kind of akin to the war paint seen in "Brave Heart".

My sister suggested that you could simply tell every person you pass "Hi, I'm Catholic"! That works too...

One could even use labeling stickers on their shirt with an "I'm Catholic" on it or something.
Well, I'm certainly going to do something. I'm not flying 1200 miles to be a wallflower. I want to meet the other solid Traditional Catholics who drove and/or flew in from all over the world. This could be an excellent opportunity to make new friends.

Your scapular or miraculous medal idea might be the best. I want to do SOMETHING to suggest I'm Catholic, not just a well-dressed Lutheran. Remember, protestants and atheists get dressed up for conferences and special events too. So just a suit & tie and modest dress will NOT give you away as a Catholic. It's not like the pagans around us dress in bikinis and short shorts for every occasion. They only run around in their underwear when they're at a beach or waterpark.

A long (close to ankle-length) skirt might be a good idea for the ladies. That will nearly give them away as Trad Catholics. When prottys and pagans get dressed up, they tend to go with low necklines, sleeveless dresses, tight dresses, and knee-length AT THE LONGEST for their dresses and skirts.

I will be there, and am looking forward to meeting all of you...

Or at least as many as time allows... ::)

Safe travels for everyone!   :)

Oh, and I like Student of Qi's suggestion about wearing a crucifix, miraculous medal, or something of the sort!  I myself always wear a crucifix and Saint Benedict's medal.

And Matthew, definitely a good suggestion about women wearing ankle length skirts or dresses.  That is also something which is the norm for me though.  So, we will be understanding for those who are not able to do so.   :)
