Interesting that the satanic NY Times understands what many trads do not regarding why Bp. Williamson was "expelled."
Traditionalist Group Ousts a Bishop
"A Catholic traditionalist group has expelled Bishop Richard Williamson, who deeply embarrassed the Vatican by denying the h0Ɩ0cαųst; the denial came shortly before he was readmitted to the church three years ago, causing an international uproar. The group, the Swiss-based Society of Saint Pius X, whose four bishops were excommunicated from 1988 to 2009, said Wednesday that the bishop had not shown “respect and obedience” to his superiors. Bishop Williamson, 72, is an opponent of the society’s recent efforts to fully reintegrate with the church. Pope Benedict XVI said he had not known of Bishop Williamson’s far-right-wing views, which had been published on the Internet, before lifting the ban on him and others in a bid to end a schism with the Society of Saint Pius X. Bishop Williamson’s presence in the society’s leadership appeared to be a hurdle to any accord with the Vatican. But negotiations have broken down, and his departure may have little effect on the group’s relations with Rome. The World Jєωιѕн Congress welcomed the expulsion but said it was “too little, too late” to restore credibility to the Society of Saint Pius X, which it said had done little to combat anti-Semitism in its ranks. "
While it might be amusing to read now and then, as usual, the NYT gets it wrong. It should have said:
A Catholic traditionalist group has expelled Bishop Richard Williamson,
who deeply embarrassed the Vatican by denying the h0Ɩ0cαųst
pointing out errors in the popular misunderstanding of what is
called 'the h0Ɩ0cαųst' by taking note of historical facts that are being
admittedly disregarded by the German court system;
the denial clarification came shortly before he was readmitted
to the church his so-called excommunication was lifted 'lifted'
three years ago, causing an international uproar of confusion and
misunderstanding, much of which was spearheaded by the New
York Times.
The French group, the currently Swiss-based Society of Saint
Pius X, whose four bishops were excommunicated invalidly
'excommunicated' from 1988 to 2009, said Wednesday that the
bishop had not shown “respect and obedience” to his superiors.
Bishop Williamson, 72, is an opponent of the society’s Society's
recent efforts to fully reintegrate compromise the Society's
founding principles by making a 'deal' with the church Vatican.
Pope Benedict XVI said he had not known of Bishop Williamson’s
far-right-wing views, which had been published on the Internet,
before lifting the ban 'lifting' the invalid 'excommunications'
on him and others 3 of the 5 others in a bid to end a schism
the commonly misunderstood disagreement the Vatican has
with the Society of Saint Pius X.
Bishop Williamson’s presence in the society’s leadership appeared
to some observers and to certain anonymous informants from
within the Vatican to be a hurdle to any accord with the Vatican.
But negotiations have broken down, and his departure may have
little effect on the group’s relations with Rome, according to our
unnamed informants.
The World Jєωιѕн Congress welcomed the expulsion but said it was
“too little, too late” to restore credibility to the Society of Saint Pius
X, which it said had done little to combat anti-Semitism in its ranks.
[When the NYT reports on the WJC, you can be pretty sure it's
accurate!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA]
Summary: Since the WJC says that this expulsion of the Senior Bishop of
the Society is "too little, too late," then you can be ABSOLUTELY sure that's
the marching orders for the Vatican: and therefore, you can expect everything
that follows to be right in lock-step with that dictum, that axiom, that
founding principle of what the Vatican will do from this point onward. This is
because, as JPII "The Great" said, "The Jews are our elder brothers in the
faith." And don't you dare forget it.
Well done! Good editing.
Thank you.
...this expulsion of the Senior Bishop of the Society is "too little, too late,
to restore credibility to the Society," then ... therefore, you can expect everything
that follows to be right in lock-step with that dictum, that axiom, that founding
principle ...
It just dawned on me: they're saying that expelling +W isn't going to be sufficient
to make any real difference, and that before +Fellay will be able to make any
'deal,' something
more will be required.
And what do you suppose that would be?
It has already been explained that picking off +W is just a phase, and that a
second bishop's removal is in order. Who would that be? I expect it would be
+de Mallerais, because he is the one who has had some rather 'difficult' things
to say about this 'deal' business. He is the one who has gone on record as
having 'many more things against +Fellay' in his collection, things he can pull
out of the hat, as it were, on a moment's notice. He's the one who says he will
wait until +Fellay puts this 'deal' negotiation thingy on the table again, and then
he's the one who will oppose him.
That could be the plan.. +Fellay will 'put the deal on the table,' and +de Mallerais
will step forward to oppose it. And +Fellay will scold him, saying, "You're being
disobedient." And +Fellay will continue, and +de Mallerais has said he will
oppose him again, and again, and again. So +Fellay will give him several
opportunities to follow through with this 'opposition,' and then he will say,
"You have persisted with your disobedience, you have therefore made your
choice." And then there were two.
All this while, +de Galarreta will be on notice. If he teams up with +de Mallerais,
they will both receive warnings together. But in any event, eventually it will be
his turn too, and he will be given the opportunity to 'obey' or be expelled, like
the other two. And then there was one.
Now,
The One can do as he pleases. And at that point, the Vatican can say,
"Okay, so you need another bishop, since you don't have enough bishops any
more." (Remember, they did this in the abominable 60's with Scripture in the
Mass. For the 1962 Missal and NewCalendar, half of the Scripture readings were
expunged and then they complained that there were not enough Bible verses, so
then they added a whole new shipment of Bible verses and a 3-year 'cycle' to
the liturgy.) So, being deprived of bishops, the Society will be given the great
new opportunity to 'show their willingness to cooperate' (read: capitulate) by
accepting Bishop Cheesehead to be your new, additional bishop.
And Bishop Cheesehead will bring with him a few items, packing. He'll have some
new vestments, he'll have some vernacular in the Mass, he'll have the practice of
providing photo opps for the faithful after Mass, he'll even be turning around a lot
more often during Mass and having the altar boys doing things a little differently.
There will be the 'New 1962 Missal' with everything that entails, probably (because
this has already been the Trojan horse of the past that worked so well - why not
again???) a number of
OPTIONS, so the priest can do as he pleases under
'obedience.' (huh?) Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the Menzingen-denizens will be
watching and following the Cheesehead lead, adding accretions to their own
Masses.
No problem. Remember the sailor drilling holes in the bottom of the boat:
"What's the problem? We've always known there's a sailor drilling holes in the
bottom of the boat."
But that's okay, it's all part of 'our new cooperation.' And let's see how all this
goes first, and then we can talk about a 'deal,' okay?
