Some idiot said, "A cross with no corpus?" -- note how they like to find fault, even when there is no fault to be found. This crowd rejoices in evil, not in the truth. They are almost HAPPY when they find someone in sin, in error, so they can feel all self-righteous!

These modern-day Pharisees disgust me. I observe a complete lack of charity -- the love of Christ -- in these people. I don't care that they hate the Novus Ordo. Fighting and opposition isn't the be all and end all of gaining a high place in Heaven. "If I deliver my body to be burned, and have not Charity, it profiteth me nothing."

Unfortunately for some, these people (Novus Ordo Watch and its followers) happen to be Sedevacantist. And this is one of the many reasons I avoid that position -- it often (not necessarily always) leads to bitterness and bitter zeal, and constant attacks on others.

P.S. When you call them on this -- try to interrupt their sharp tongues to point out the TRUTH -- your comments get deleted. We can't have people interrupting their chants of "stone him! crucify him!" for a little old thing like THE TRUTH!

I note that Novus Ordo Watch has the same initials as National Organization for Women.
But it would be more appropriate to call them "Bitter Zeal Watch".

  • This is exactly the same Pharisaical lack of charity disease that causes other uncharitable behavior at Trad chapels.

For example, the old biddy who goes up to a young, recently married couple, "Hey, are you pregnant yet? What, are you using birth control?"

Or the old biddy who starts counting and "doing the math" when a young couple announces they are expecting.

In both cases, the uncharitable biddy in question SECRETLY WISHES that she will discover evil in her fellow parishioners. That's the exact opposite of Charity!

    [4] Charity is patient, is kind: charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely; is not puffed up; [5] Is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh no evil;

If you are charitable, you will rejoice when you find goodness, not sin. You won't be happy when you find scandal, and sad when you find goodness. That's how the devil is oriented!

My favorite is the comment asking about the floor tiles: "What is with the checkerboard floor?" (May 12, 7:31 pm)

    .
You see, many traditional Catholics are intellectuals who enjoy playing chess. So they had these black and white floor tiles in the room when it was used for activities like playing chess, and when they made it over into a chapel, they kept the floor because it was in very good condition. Plus, it has a classical look.
    .
This floor pattern was very popular in Europe about 100 years ago, and it is preserved in many protected buildings out of a sense of historical accuracy. But it is becoming more popular recently, as can be seen in various venues, such as..........

  •  :cheers:Those who subscribe to the Nervous Ohno watch are those who come in the night and spread zizania amidst the farmer's wheat. They are a cancer. Along with not having Caritas, and indeed because of that, Fides et Spes is also found to be wanting. Straining at a gnat whist swallowing camels all the time destroys your liturgical and spiritual intestines. I do not consider them Catholic, but rather the Zealot Assembly of Neurotic Obnoxious Whiners.
We need to show them caritas, Old Southern style.  :cowboy: :farmer: :heretic: ;D

And yea, they did shew themselves to be of one large ass, so the Lord of Hosts did send down holy buckshot. And everyseat was vacant because they could not sit upon their inflamed posteriors. There was much jubilation in the land for a time.

Da pacem Domine in diebus nostris
    Qui non est alius
    Qui pugnet pro nobis
    Nisi  tu Deus noster

  • I try to read Novus Ordo Watch sometimes but I don't like it. I don't know exactly why because I like reading Traditio and they are similar to Novus Ordo Watch. When Novus Ordo Watch makes jokes I get upset, but when Traditio makes similar jokes I laugh. I disagree with the positions of both Traditio and Novus Ordo Watch but one I like and one I don't like.

  • LOL - when I saw the title of the thread I read "Novus Ordo Mass Makes Me Sick", and that is why I opened it up. I do not go to the Novus Ordo because it does make me sick, the title struck a cord with me.

If Novus Ordo Watch made me sick I would not go to their site. There's thousands of pro-Novus Ordo sites that I do not go to because "they make me sick", there is nothing there for me but puerile material.

  • I find that most people have an inability to glean objective information from websites that they disagree with.

It's like listening to Milo Yannanopolis to hear about Leftist fascism in the United States.  A large amount of people on the Right simply cannot tolerate his fαɢɢօtry.  Or going to an atheist forum to see the current thoughts among the faithless.  Exposure to the harsh language and pure, vile hatred turns off most believers.

I'm not saying it's wrong that people cannot tolerate going to such different (extremist?) places for information.  I am saying, however, it's sort of a rare ability.  Is it a good ability to have?  I dunno.  It didn't work out for Sauraman.  But Lord of the Rings is a fiction.

God likes simplicity.  Unfortunately, we don't live in simple times, and most of us were not raised in a simple fashion.

I don't particularly care for how "Novus Ordo Watch" does things....but to be "sick" over one man posting something wrong on his own private web site??  It's Mario Derksen!

I mistake like that could certainly mean a failure in charity, but a "complete" lack of charity??  You cannot possibly judge that. Charity has many degrees, and a mistake like that most certainly doesn't mean mortal sin - which would mean a complete lack of charity.
And then to judge a "position" based on a failure in charity of one man?  C'mon!  Where is objective truth in all of this?

I'm confused.  You're saying that they delete your posts, but when I clicked on the link you provided, I see that your post is shown on that Facebook page.  Did you mean other sedevacantist sites delete your posts?  If so, I'd like to know which ones.  I don't read many of the comment sections of most websites unless someone specifically points something out to me.  The only website I've been shown to have demonstrably deleted a comment made by a friend of mine was The Remnant newspaper website.
Also, I spoke with someone who knows about Facebook and he told me that these are comments made by other people who visit his Facebook page, and not by the page owner himself.  These posts made on this topic are very similar to the stupid comments we see various posters on CathInfo make when they clearly did not read the topic or post an obvious error in fact because they don't really know anything about the topic on which they are addressing.

I think it would be worth your while to study yourself and find the answer to why.

That posting by Matto was the 7th posting on this thread, I made a posting right after Matto's posting that got an immediate thumbs up withing one minute. I then posted a short one right after. I looked in later in the day and found my first posting gone, and my second posting had two thumbs down, I assume because it was misunderstood by the sedes, so I clarified it. Regarding the posting that disappeared I really don't know how it happened since it was an inoffensive posting and I think a profound posting. I don't know how it happened, so I'll repeat it again as I remember it:

Up to Mattos posting (#7) all the postings appear to be full of bitterness and detraction. This is a fault which we have to battle, and I have found that the best way not to fall into the mortal sin of detraction is to convince yourself that you are talking with someone that you like and admire and who thinks like you. This is very hard to do, so it is better not to say anything about the person till you are in the right spirit. As an example, I could never detract against any person who believes that dogma is the final word on a subject, like Stubborn, Ladislaus, An Even Seven, the Dimond's etc. If I were ever to criticize something they said it would be ONLY to help them improve themselves. With this attitude there is never any bitterness and thus there will never be any detraction.

    God Bless

  • Repeating the same mistakes as the SSPX was predictable given the nature of those opposing Rome. It was going to be someone of courage, intellect and great conviction to resist the delinquency of popes, cardinals, bishops and priests actively embracing the modern age and the distressed glitter of once mighty Rome! And because these once-brave souls are falling like dominoes, we constantly need sharp reminders of what is in store for those acting 'charitably' when dealing with purveyors of the modern church. If Bp. Williamson is seeking to replicate the Society when raising bishops, further down the line we are going to see yet more expressions of divisive halfway house-ism that was always the calling card of the SSPX. I wonder what it will take for them to stop recognising demonic Rome and finally settle their minds on the true path.
