  • Words from Fr. Chazal:

The new tower should be ready for the next priest meeting, with a big library - common room, 2 priests' rooms, 4 seminarian rooms, amenities etc...
...except that if the Bishops keep on ordaining seminarians, there will be no seminary left, but only a priory.
Hence we count on your prayers to obtain a new flow of good candidates.

The calls are multiplying, as people are spreading the word from place to place, so we respond as best as we can by also building chapels, like this one in El Salvador, where Bishop Zendejas gave 42 confirmations this year.
Another church is nearing completion in Maasin Leyte, where we hope to see Fr June Mark be ordained.
The other picture is a recent marriage in our supersmall chapel of llc, near the Cebu airport. a bamboo cathedral is going to be built there soon on a piece of land we have just purchased.

  • It's great to see the new buildings. It sounds like there are not any new candidates for the seminary yet, but chances are there will be.

The photos are good. But I have to wonder how well the bamboo buildings will withstand the monsoons. Maybe they just expect to get some water in the buildings from the rain, and it's not a big deal, like it would be here in the U.S.
"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

    ~St. Robert Bellarmine
    De Romano Pontifice, Lib.II, c.29
