  • New Ultimatum from Rome

What a coincidence! As we reported "Pie" A évêques'est levé Forum, "The fraternity has until late February to give an official response to Rome. And the threat of sanctions on the fraternity are very serious."

In the forum "Fecit" handled 100% by acuerdistas very close to Bishop Fellay, we confirmed this statement:

Austremoine: What is the role of bishops Di Noia and Muller, who sent an ultimatum to Bishop Fellay strong threats accompanied the end of February? The agreement of this date to the end of the pontificate is strange ...

In Le Forum Catholique Ennemond tells us, is, Jacques-Régis du Cray, which we read in the Open Letter to Father Lorans of antimodernisme.info:

On the Internet, presumptuous interventions, although poor, Mr. Jacques-Régis du Cray (Ennemond of Prévigny ...) that since 2007 has not "missed the opportunity to attend meetings of GREC", are part of the official communication of the SSPX? How this young man, so weak in theology as haughty, could only hope to play the role of censor of Tradition? This history professor who lectures at random on the intended spirit of Archbishop Lefebvre, right lets you Lorans Father, you and the House General, "preparing" the opinions saying aloud what you think quietly?

This is what has been published "Ennemond":

In early January, Bishop Muller sent a letter to Bishop Fellay, also signed by Bishop de Noia where he'll have until Feb. 22 to accept the preamble revised on 13 June, with three modifications imposed. If denied, Rome will send the revised preamble to every priest of the SSPX. The first steps at the Ecclesia Dei of Bishop Muller glimpse an offensive attitude that runs the risk of not attracting absolutely no priest of the SSPX, requested conditions are more stringent than those required to Archbishop Lefebvre in 1988.

    We will see ...

  • Meaning the final triumph of GREC/Menzingen may be close at hand.

    Incredible.

They will use the excuse of worthless sanctions as an excuse to sign.

  • They needed to come out with that "interview" to keep as many people glued to their seats as possible when the stuff hits the fan in a few days.

    Wow...

Yeah but the resistance is being lead by the devil, according to Fr. Rostand.

What does that mean I wonder? The preamble that Bp. Fellay received and subsequently presented to the General Chapter in July has had a further three modification made to it?

    Yeah really!
What "sanctions" - what else can they do? They already took away the Church, Mass, Faith, Sacraments, hierarchy, altars, tabernacle, statues and turned the whole Catholic Church into a giant sex and homo scandalized farce.

    Sanctions? HA! Sanction this!

  • Quote from: Archbishop Lefebvre
The accusation of separation and of schism made against us because we refuse to participate in the protestantization of the Church is ridiculous! It is, however, deserved by those who foment that same protestantization. Among them are those who have for a long time fallen away from the Catholic Faith and yet, in common with all the heretics of history, work to try to make the Church become like them and conform to their ideas. We cannot understand how intelligent people can state that they “prefer to err with the Pope rather than to be with truth against the Pope.”

If one day they shall excommunicate us because we remain faithful to these theses we shall consider ourselves excommunicated by Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ

  • Neither Card. Mueller nor Archbishop DiNoa care a whit about tradition.  Other than destroying the SSPX, what else would be their motivation?

I think you are right, they just want the SSPX neutralized so that there are not even any pebbles in the way of the Modernist machine.

  • The sspx have neutralized themselves. In the last few years, the number of Masses offered in Ireland has considerably lessened. They no longer appear to be fighting for the Faith here.....coincidence?

This is a good point to consider.

The SSPX must stay the course.

Maybe a real heretic like Cardinal Koch would be the kind of pope that none in the traditionalist movement would try to hobble up to.

Archbishop DiNoa was very clear about changing the thinking of Traditionalists. It takes time.I recall also Dr. Krah stating that Bishop Fellay has told him they don't want certain people attending the chapels.

You have also to keep in mind.

(All images below may be enlarged by clicking on them)

'The Remnant' has published an 'interview' with SSPX lawyer and asset manager Maximillian Krah in which he makes a statement regarding his involvement with a Jaidhofer Foundation:

Siscoe:  Another company name that is mentioned is Jaidhofer Foundation. Can you discuss this company?
Krah:  Yes, this is linked with the SSPX ... There is a family in Austria which wanted to donate to the SSPX, but did not want to donate directly. They wanted to establish a foundation that would support the SSPX.  And in every foundation you need some trustees.  It’s a kind of trust, and I am one of the trustees.  I was chosen by the family who established the foundation ...  This foundation is supporting the SSPX and using the money which was donated by this family. As an example, it is supporting the new Seminary project in Virginia ...
Below is a picture of Maximillian Krah at Jaidhof with members of the Austrian Gutmann family he describes above as benefactors of the SSPX:

  • I predict Bishop Fellay will reject the ultimatum. In his Toronto speech he explained that he already gave his final answer.

I also don't think a single Society priest will choose to accept Rome's ultimatum.
Any Society priest who wanted to do that could have left and joined the FSSP years ago.

Bad miscalculation on Rome's part. This will embolden the SSPX and unite them in resistance.
Mueller and company have overplayed their hand.

Bring on 22 February. Let's draw clear lines. The church of modernist ultimatums or the Church of Tradition. People will have to choose.

  • I suspect people that have only desired not to be under the local diocesan bishops or have accepted Religious Liberty as very very limited have already made their choices.
