Looks like the SSPX Resistance is starting to get organized.
Let's support them!

The consequences of an agreement
Although the agreement process is stalled, even so, the details of the agreement were never even announced. We have been told that nobody within the SSPX but Bishop Fellay (and perhaps a few of his helpers such as Frs. Nely and Pfluger) know the details. The other three bishops of the SSPX do not know the details.
However, Bishop Fellay has told us certain aspects of it. The agreement will grant the SSPX a personal prelature within the Church. Such a prelature sounds like it could possibly be a good thing, right? Well, even with its supposed protections, the SSPX will be very vulnerable. For just one example, consider that Bishop Fellay himself admitted that:
"It is still true—since it is Church law—that in order to open a new chapel or to found a work, it would be necessary to have the permission of the local ordinary." (See Bishop Fellay's DICI interview 6-7-2012).
So the SSPX will be at the mercy of the liberal and modernist bishops all over the world, in order to perform their duties of bringing the sacraments to starving souls! The very reason why the SSPX is justified in coming into any diocese to bring the faithful the traditional Faith, Mass and Sacraments, is because the diocesan bishop has failed to do so. Now, Bishop Fellay is agreeing to give these same bishops veto power over the SSPX to fulfill the needs of the souls in that diocese. And, of course, history has consistently taught us that most of these bishops will not be friendly to Catholic Tradition whatsoever. Is this not reason enough to avoid any kind of agreement?
Agreements mean nothing to Rome!
If you have not, please read about what has happened to other "traditionalist" organizations who made agreements similar to the one which the SSPX recently came so close to making. You will clearly see the pattern of Rome's game: to destroy Catholic Tradition by moving demanding slow but steady movements into the New Religion.
Basically, an agreement with Rome means:
No agreement at all, for Rome consistently breaks them.
An guaranteed destruction of the Catholic spirit and power of the organization that makes such an agreement.
Archbishop Lefebvre certainly did not trust an agreement with Rome, no matter what Rome promised:
pp. 602 - 603, Marcel Lefebvre by Bp. Tissier de Mallerais (source here)
Joseph Ratzinger gave in: “Let us find a practical solution.” … How did Marcel Lefebvre not jump for joy? Rome was giving in! But his penetrating faith went to the very heart of the Cardinal’s rejection of doctrine. He said to himself: “So, must Jesus no longer reign? Is Jesus no longer God? Rome has lost the Faith. Rome is in apostasy. We can no longer trust this lot!” To the Cardinal, he said:
"Eminence, even if you give us everything – a bishop, some autonomy from the bishops, the 1962 liturgy, allow us to continue our seminaries – we cannot work together because we are going in different directions. You are working to dechristianize society and the Church, and we are working to Christianize them.
"For us, our Lord Jesus Christ is everything. He is our life. The Church is our Lord Jesus Christ; the priest is another Christ; the Mass is the triumph of Jesus Christ on the cross; in our seminaries everything tends toward the reign of our Lord Jesus Christ. But you! You are doing the opposite: you have just wanted to prove to me that our Lord Jesus Christ cannot, and must not, reign over society."
Recounting this incident, the Archbishop described the Cardinal’s attitude: “Motionless, he looked at me, his eyes expressionless, as if I had just suggested something incomprehensible or unheard of.” Then Ratzinger tried to argue that “the Church can still say whatever she wants to the State,” while Lefebvre, the intuitive master of Catholic metaphysics, did not lose sight of the true end of human societies: the Reign of Christ. Fr. de Tinguy hit the nail on the head when he said of Marcel Lefebvre: “His faith defies those who love theological quibbles.”
Consequences for the SSPX if a deal is made
Again, Rome's plan is clear: to destroy all Catholic Tradition organizations by appearing to be a friend of Tradition, but then eventually neutering it by gradual movements into the New Religion. For each organization, Rome left it alone for some number of years; Rome let it get cozy and comfortable in their new position. But in every case, Rome finally began to make demands, conditions, changes which completely weakened whatever Truly Traditional mindset that these organizations once had.
Real Problems
Therefore, the first and most certain problem for the SSPX: It is a guarantee that Rome will eventually break any agreement it makes. Why would Roman authorities keep any agrement with Catholic Tradition, when many of them have long ago broken St. Pius X's famous anti-modernist oath which they took at their ordinations and consecrations? Once the support structure of an agreement is broken (and therefore the foolish trust in Rome), the
Rome will eventually implant modernist superiors in the SSPX hierarchy (as they have done in the Fraternity of St. Peter). Our bishops will not live forever. What shall we do then? Rome will most likely not allow them to ordain other, traditionalists bishops. The SSPX seminarians, who realize that they depend on these new bishops for ordination, will "fall into line" with the new thinking (again, as happened with the Fraternity of St. Peter).
Rome will almost immediately implant (at least somewhat) modernist teachers in the SSPX seminaries. Bishop Williamson makes this point very well at this timepoint in this Youtube video.
The SSPX will most likely be at the mercy & whims of the local bishops (the vast majority for such important matters as:
The construction of new chapels
Confirmations - Our children will be confirmed at the hands of who knows what new bishops of Rome's choosing.
Weddings
Anullments
You can be sure that the local bishops (most of whom are proven liberals and enemies of Tradtion!) will do what they can to delay, complicate, or even prevent Catholic Tradition from taking root in their dioceses. One technique will be for them to simply appeal to Rome about something the SSPX is doing in their diocese - and whom do you think Rome will side with?
(Frequent?) Visits from diocesan and other novus ordo "clergy". Yes, that means they will celebrate Mass for us ("After all, we can't offend our visitors, can we?"). And, oh boy! Those sermons will be excellent, too. "Fr. Novus is in the confessional for anyone who wishes to go..."
At least some portion of our donations to the SSPX will end up going to the local modernist diocese, or even to Rome itself. For what? To pay for sɛҳuąƖ abuse lawsuits. To pay for more Assisi meetings. To pay for beautiful Churches to be torn down and hideous eyesores to be built.
Eventually, the SSPX property and assets will fall under the control of Masonic Rome, which will not tolerate real independence of its poor, blind, stubborn traditionalist children. Now, in "normal" times, Church ownership of properties is to be expected. But not in these troubled times - it would be a deadly practical blow to Catholic Tradition.
Other possibile consequences (ideas taken from this post)
"Novus Ordo bishops perform SSPX ordinations and confirmations.
SSPX clergy may be forced to concelebrate the N.O. on Maundy Thursday (like Rome did to the Fraternity of Saint Peter)
SSPX clergy may be forced to use the new "hybrid 1962 liturgy"
SSPX'ers may be told that they mustn't criticize Vatican II or the Pope or future Assisi gatherings, mustn't object to the canonization of John Paul II and eventually, which seems to be coming, that of Paul VI, and so on."
