New Trad Radio station!
« on: March 23, 2026, 04:19:35 PM »
After years of working on this, we are delighted to announce the launch of a new traditional radio station... Christus Radio!

You can check it out right now at https://christusradio.com (there is a "click to listen" button right below the picture)

It is streaming live also on a number of apps and radio websites. "Mytuner" and "Radio.net" are the two main ones. The list is at the bottom of the webpage, you will see when you go to it. There is also a 24 hour stream on our telegram channel (see bottom of this post) and also on twitch.

Facebook and youtube limit the hours of streaming, so those will only be occasionally done. (Though we have accounts for both)

The station broadcasts sermons, conferences, audio books, and prayer. We are staying away from copyrighted music, and besides you can get that elsewhere. What we do have, which is pretty unique, is a massive audio library going back over years of traditional Catholicism that should be shared with the world. Not all of the audio can be found on YouTube, or anywhere on the internet for that matter.

Two goals for this station: As an apostolate for those to find Catholicism, and traditional Catholicism. And secondly to help nourish the Faith of those already traditional Catholic.

And while of course you can just go on youtube and find many talks, the whole point of a radio station is you let the station decide what to listen to. " I just want to listen to something Catholic", go to the station and whatever you find on there will be wholesome and true. A simple concept.

Whether you're at home minding the house, or out at work, we hope that you will tune in and listen to our content while going about your day. In this world of trash and lies, hopefully it can be an oasis of Truth for people.

Please feel free to ask questions here.

Suggestions are most welcome and will be cherished. There are certainly going to be imperfections at the beginning.

Looking forward to hearing from you and God bless!

This is truly glorious. I will rack up thousands of hours listening. I have shared the link with my friends, I pray for your continued success, and I pray all who comes across this site will listen the same.

Thank you so much!

Always good to have hard work appreciated.

Please do submit feedback.

Right now the station plays categories on a certain timetable.

All this can be changed, based on what is best.

We have to consider different timezones. Main audience is obviously USA and Europe. But there is, even there, when you think about it, a huge time difference between PST and Central European time.

For the moment the different categories of content is split across different times of day. If people want more nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr stuff at a convenient time we can do that. Or more prayer at a certain time.

Trying to cater to everybody will be tricky. We can always split it up into multiple stations as well, but that risks diluting the audience. So at this point any and all input is very valuable. Starting with people who genuinely will listen regularly to it.

Also note, that since it is still early days, you may experience interruptions, as we iron out some glitches. Trying to make it as smooth an experience as possible. (Literally as this is being typed, its restarting, lol )

Does anyone have an recommendations for radio listings and apps to get on that we haven't thought of before?

Where do you all get your radio?

Oh yes and forgot to add one important thing.

Once we build up some listeners on the station, it would be great if anyone out there wants to submit live shows, podcasts of their own etc. etc.

Great thing about live shows, you can see on youtube, is you give out a zoom/google meet link and people can call you. You just choose to admit them. People don't care as much about the smoothness of the whole thing as they used to, and you can see that on youtube podcasts now.

But of course recorded podcasts are welcome.

Anything is welcome so long as there no impurity, bad language etc. Polemics are fine. We're not puritans.

But send a DM, here or by email christusradio (at) gmail dot com. Conversations can be started now regarding your ideas for shows. The station is now live and staying live. No more beta. Lets get this thing going.
