I get the point of breaks, like the music on AM/FM radio, I would prefer it be real and not AI generated. As well as the vocal intermissions. It serves it's purpose, however it takes me out of the audible "comfort" of listening. I'll have it on in the background, and when I hear those robot instruments start it takes me out of whatever I'm doing for a moment. It's far better than listening to a novus ordo station, but it's the one thing that can change to make it truly seamless. Hiring Catholic musicians to record would be great.

I have always wanted to have my own talk show. I know how to do it and I would like to pursue it once I have ample free time, commenting on current events and saying prayers, if that is of interest for a time slot and replays I will do it. However I can't see it happening sooner than 10 months from right now.

I mean a section of the website to replay recently played segments. That would be great. I find it even more convenient to listen to the same sermon automatically the next day, packing the same sermon once a day multiple times a week is a good strategy. Both are equally useful.

The issue is that it starts to become a streaming service then rather than a radio station. But it's worth considering. Something might be possible.

Just had a listen the last while to the "competition". Being the novus ordo stations on the radio directory listings, and they are truly horrific. Absolutely awash with sentimentalism. It shouldn't be hard to attract serious people with this station. Much meatier content.

Send a DM with your ideas for a talk show when you're ready.

Very cool and serious effort. I'll check it out.
Thank you! If you like it, talk about it! That's the best support we can get right now.

If there is time there will be a special Holy Week schedule with a lot more prayer and meditations on the Passion. Hopefully very helpful who those who can't make it to a good Mass.

Thinking of inserting more prayer in between tracks also. But we will see.

Also probably going to start streaming on kick at some point. Which allows for 24 hour streaming apparently. Even gamers can save their souls :)

Weekends schedule will be something different eventually also, but that requires further thought.

Very consoling that people are tuning in from far away countries with no Catholics. Pray for this apostolate! Bringing REAL Catholicism, not "Sound of Music" Catholicism to souls.
(They're finding us on the directory listings)

Been listening all morning.

Content is good. The music breaks are profoundly cringe, I just yanked my headphones out and logged onto CI to tell you. Please change.

How viable would it be for the streaming banner to indicate the speaker and the topic? I assume most of the audio files aren't very descriptive so I'm sure it would be an undertaking. For instance right now all I know is I'm listening to "Act 02."

It's a great undertaking and I'll continue to listen even despite the music breaks.

btw I don't care if you use Suno or whatever for music breaks, and I don't mind the idea of music breaks, it's just the actual music is cringe.
