  • A very good sermon ! I copy for you what Fr Pfeifer wrote, but I don't understand the meaning, because of my bad level in English.

  • Fr. Hewko preached about an episode in Spanish history, which is analogous to our current situation. The cave is a situs talked about in the sermon.

The sermon is incredible, BTW. Just magnificent.

FR. PFEIFFER: "Essential Sermon Mustard Seed and Paleo resistance in 722 Covadonga Spain compared to present SSPX Crisis. Silence kills souls." Fr Pfeiffer
    Eglisemilitante

Paleo resistance = early history of the Church episode involving resistance against compromise

722 = year of herein referenced Spanish conflict

Cova Donga, Spain = cave serving as resistance headquarters

Silence kills souls = Silence kills souls

    InDominoSperavi,

    Sorry for double-posting Father's sermon.

I didn't notice your post until after I re-posted it.

    Incred.
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

That sermon is so excellent, it probably merits a double-posting.

  • No problem at all, Incredulous. The most important thing is that everybody knows this very good sermon. I liked very much all your explanations about Our Lady of Covadonga and I used them for my blog. I also copied the nice photo of the statue. God bless.
