Author Topic: New Rosary Crusade in many states in the US (Read 1368 times)

It was announced in my parish in Florida of a new rosary crusade in Florida mass centers to stop the building of a new, large mosque in Orlando, Florida. Fr. Vernoy mentioned in the sermon and during his talk after mass of the importance to pray the rosary daily for stopping the expansion of Islamic centers in Orlando and the halting of the growth of Islam in the country. Fr. Vernoy mentioned that, besides Florida, the priories in Colorado and Virginia have asked the faithful for this new crusade, especially during the Advent season. Fr. Vernoy mentioned that the crusade was approved by District Superior Fr. Wegner and left the implementation to the priors of respective mass centers.

This gives me hope that there are, still, many SSPX priests that are willing to fight the PC culture of the American Novus Ordo bishops and explicity pray for the halting of islamic expansion in America and call out Muslims.

It's an honorable thing to pray the Rosary to prevent the spread of false religions, especially Mohammedism including the building of new mosques.

It would be nice to see some unity and clarity on the subject from the SSPX instead of us having to rely on "Internet rumours" for our information, however.

(For those who don't follow the news, +Fellay et.al. have been rather contemptuous of such "rumours" in the past, for their own convenience, of course.)

I cant imagine the mindset or priestly formation that would even tempt a priest to aspire to that.

This is the Novus Ordo today. Perhaps Fr Vernoy etc might consider becoming Muslims...

This is a very uncharitable thing to say. Whether you like him or not, he represents Christ and deserves the respect his office holds.

Is it possible to support the migrants coming to the West from the Middle East and be against the mosques being built?
