Our resistance in Canada has two principal objectives:

1. To maintain the Catholic Faith of all time and the traditional sacramental rites, which do not include the teachings of Vatican II and the consequent post-conciliar reforms, especially the Novus Ordo Missae.

2. To maintain the mission and memory of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in his fight for the same Catholic Faith and traditional sacramental rites, and his commonsensical practical position of “no canonical agreement until Rome converts”.

I don't know if I count as "one of them" but anyways we have just been bombarded by our new neo-SSPX priest, Fr. Okerse, in the Sunday sermon. He basically said that the laity should pray and mind your own business, because you need to save your soul, so that you should not talk/discuss/be concerned with problem with the society. Bishop Fellay got it covered! You laity just shut up, he literally said. :devil2:

Thank you Vidi for enlightening this northern Albertan about Father Okerse. Can I assume the other Calgary priest(s) are in the same neo-SSPX camp?

Well, Kazimierz, to be fair, i don't think I can assume all Albertan priest to be for neo-SSPX. I think they are mostly fence-sitters, same for many of the priests in the Society. For example, father Herkel is a close friend of Father Girouard (they spend their vacation together last year in Vernon) and I am sure they have been talking about the SSPX crisis for the last year. I pray that Fr. Herkel will be strong and stand up for the Truth as well.

As for one of the seminarians stationed there in AB, I heard that he is thoroughly indoctrinated in the neo-SSPX, accordista viewpoint. He disagreed with Fr. G and argued with him.
