New Group to pray for the Pope
« on: August 05, 2015, 06:35:29 AM »
I have begun a new group, the Militia of Saint Peter in Chains, in order to organize a spiritual weapon in the hands of Our Lady for the deliverance of the Pope and the Roman Curia from Modernism and Liberalism. It requires a member to pray 5 decades of the Rosary daily for the following intentions: 1. The deliverance of the Pope and the Roman Curia from Modernism and Liberalism. 2. The triumph of the Holy Roman Church over her adversaries. 3. The Consecration of Russia by the Pope and bishops according to the Will of Our Lady of Fatima.

Likewise, members must wear the scapular of Our Lady of Ransom, an easily obtainable scapular. She appeared on the Feast of St. Peter in Chains to Saint Peter Nolasco, and then to Saint Raymond Peñafort and King James I of Aragon.

The web address is militiaspc.org

We must pray for the pope, without ceasing, as the Church did for St. Peter in the Acts of the Apostles. He was delivered by an angel. Human solutions are vain regarding the present problem.

I'm not entirely certain whether the "Pope" and Curia are captives or are in fact the captors.  Other than that, it's a laudable intention.  Unfortunately [or, rather, fortunately], through my total consecration to Our Lady, my prayers are not my own to be able to apply them specifically to any intentions like this.

Great idea.  I love the name; very pertinent.

Whether the Pope and the Curia are good or bad doesn't change the fact that they need prayers. I am afraid that they are both captives and captors.

I think regarding total consecration, you may still pray for the intentions, for all Catholics should pray for them anyway. It is the merit you gain by praying for them that is given over to her, and she will use them in the best possible way.

My purpose is not to steal merits from Our Lady, but just to get people to pray.
