This whole video is shameful beyond words. Specially at the beginning of it, when asked about the Jews, Bishop Fellay adopts the attitude of a little boy trying to excuse himself, not even looking at the malicious journalist straight at the eye.

Pathetic. We are in desperate need of men of the caliber of Father Fahey to explain to the world what is it that we exactly mean when we say the Jews are the enemies of the Church of Christ.

It's interesting -- to say the least -- that an interview like this was done on the eve of a formal "acceptance" of the SSPX by Conciliar Rome.

Now +Fellay is going to be coming from a position of weakness, and will be all the more HUNGRY for that recognition from Rome. It really makes me wonder whose idea this interview was?

For +Fellay, this must have served somewhat as a wake-up call: just look at how The Modern World holds IN HORROR the true Catholic position on just about everything.

I agree with the previous posters that +Williamson is much more battle-hardened, wiser, and more experienced. He could have handled an adversary like this much better. Plus +Williamson says what he believes -- think back to that infamous interview +W gave which caused him to get into such trouble with +Fellay. At least +W was composed and in control during that interview. He knows what he believes, and is willing (and able) to explain it to you, in all nuanced detail.

He needs to be aware that when faced with a forceful advocate of political correctness, he has to come to the interview fully armed. He cannot defend his positions (assuming he now has any strong ones) with loads of excuses and unclear answers because nothing is gained from the interview other to reveal his weakness. The interviewer is throughout on the attack and Bp. Fellay replies with wet sponges.

I cannot imagine such an interview being set up without the Society being prepared to demonstrate its changed nature. Demolishing the interviewer would have been a no-no. It seems such an exchange is only possible where the Society is contrite and no longer on the front line politically and religiously. The intention is to show how weak some traditional figures are when up against the modern agenda. There is no fight in the bishop.      



 

The interviewer is anti Catholic terrorist supporter.     Women and children are being rape in Europe and the moron interviewer and liberal tv show are defending terrorists.  If the world would have listened to Archbishop Lefebvre, there would have been no September 11,2001 and the World would been peaceful.  Anti defamation is anti Catholic.

The media isn't to be trusted, Bishop Fellay.   I have been interviewed before and it can be overwhelming.  The last time I was interviewed it was by a Catholic reporter during the Pope's visit.  She mocked me because my husband was wearing a suit and in print she mocked me because I was dressed up and wearing a mantilla with fake pearl clips.  She used a picture of a young woman wearing sloppy jeans, sweat shirt wearing a mantilla.  

The German Press always targets me to interview.  Awkward.

It is normal to be nervous in front of a camera.

I saw the video and the show had email address.  Don't write anything about the SSPX and Bishop Fellay.  But point out the facts the anti defamation is anti Christian.  Ask them why they defend terrorists who are invading Europe raping women and children.  It proves that Archbishop Lefebvre was right about the future.  The world leaders like Obama, Merkel should be charged with treason towards their countries for denying the attacks on their country and defending terrorists.  They betray God and Country. France should be making reparations to Lefebvre Family. Archbishop Lefebvre's father died in a cσncєnтrαтισn cαмρ.  The Jєωιѕн people weren't the only victims.

This interview series is titled "Conflict Zone" and hostility by the interviewer is part of the scenario. I think Bishop Fellay handled himself quite well.

Bishop Fellay was down in DC for the March for Life ( we weren't there) . Bishop Fellay was one of the very few if any to lead a procession during the March for Life.  And the Rosary Crusades are awesome.   We should pray for the man.

I've made some mistakes and made poor judgements.  I'm sorry for that.  

I want to be with Christ; not against Him.

Perhaps Bp.Fellay was there for political reasons.
