    • Here's a fascinating tidbit for you -- in Bishop Fellay's 63 year lifetime, 33 years of that has been spent as a bishop, and 30 years of that as a non-bishop.
    He has spent more of his life as a bishop than as a non-bishop! And the non-bishop years were, naturally, long ago and far away.

    Bishop Williamson, by comparison, is 81 years old but spent 48 years as a non-bishop, and 33 as a bishop. That is more typical, due to the usual age of bishops at their consecration.
