You know this past year…the leaders of our beloved SSPX have given us such a roller coaster ride of silence, disappointment, ambiguity, distraction, grief, confusion, division, anxiety, digression, anguish, betrayal, and so on…such a bitter fruit on their new-hoped for-conciliar agreement-tree.
I am always waiting with some hope they would see their error, come out of the conciliar darkness, and back into the light that Archbishop Lefebvre had seen it -in the ‘full spectrum’ light of the FAITH.
Well…not today.
I just purchased the new 2013 Angelus Calendar on THE PAPACY. I had a prior sense that this calendar may be a continuum, after the recent Kansas City Conference on the Papacy given by Bishop Fellay, to orientate and re-educate us for the new accord, and thrust, of the “conciliar agreement”. Well my senses were not off.
Written with subtle diffusion in two places inside the Calendar is, first page, second paragraph:
“From Peter himself, down to his current successor, Pope Benedict XVI, 265 men have sat in the Chair of Peter and determined, more than any other authority, the course of the world. (Hmm. “…and determined…the course of the world.” Ok?? Where are you going with this? You are sharing the word determined. Let’s define “determined”. St. Peter “determined” the course of the world according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ –for the worship of GOD; Benedict XVI “determines” the course of the world according to ecuмenical flattery –for the worship of MAN!). This calendar seeks to present just a few of the momentous events in the life of this great office, which guides the Barque of Peter, outside of which no one may be saved. (Hmm. “…which guides the Barque of Peter, …momentous events?” Yes, that was St. Peter up to Vatican II. Where in this calendar is the disastrous “momentous events” of Benedict XVI? You did include his name? Or do you want to imply, or suggest, the lullaby that the “determined” Benedict XVI “IS NOT IN BREAK” with the other Popes suggested in your shared use of the word “determined” for both of them in the course of the world?) We hope these beautiful images and the following short explanations will encourage you to study more deeply the papacy and its role in the glorious history of the Catholic Church.” (This “suggestive” language was not used in the “old” SSPX! Charity - yes. False obedience - NO! Or, is it really -let’s re-educate to go along to get along- and not talk about the errors anymore. Are you tired of the fight God provided for us in this time? Where is your FAITH?).
Next, on the back page, is the easing in/orientation, of the New Church fasting practices. Now with the many new “fish emblems” added to the calendar -it has become a “new aquarium of ecuмenism”!
Even within the mist of claims from the SSPX Leaders over the last months (don’t worry…, there is no deal…), that when no one is looking, they slip in under the radar again, more subtle diffusion of “re-education”; which adds to their overall covert deal they have been trying to implement over the last year, in their -“big picture strategic plans” (to borrow some of Fr. Rostand’s recent words).
Yes it is subtle no less; who really wants to go down the trap, open the door, keep company, drink in, and dine with…ERROR?
