Meg, not by any stretch of the imagination can you call Opus Dei traditional.
Do you know that OD priests do not receive their vocation from God, but are chosen by higher-ups in the cult?
Escriva was a тαℓмυdist, a marrano. The name is the first clue.
You're right. And Opus Dei are Vll groupies for sure. They want to replace the hierarchy with the laity. They want to be a Church of the laity, though they do have a few priests, whom they call 'prelates'. Yes, I have have lately learned that Opus Dei priests are chosen by higher-ups in the cult, probably by lay members of Opus Dei. That just very Protestant. Nothing Catholic about that.
What is also evident is that the lay members of Opus Dei are not supposed to ever reveal their Opus Dei membership to anyone on the outside without permission from their director. I think that Voris, Lamont, Jones, and the others who are affiliated with Opus Dei might indeed be Opus Dei members, since they aren't allowed to admit that they are members. We may never know for sure.
Michael Voris' original TV studio was located at the same location (same buildings) as former Opus Dei offices (after Opus Dei left the site, I think), according to Randy Engel. Obviously, Voris has strong ties to Opus Dei. Marc Brammer is an admitted Opus Dei member, and he is on the board of Voris' CMTV.
I didn't know that Escriva was a тαℓмυdist, but it makes sense.
