Is anyone here familiar with the MJCF? I understand that it is a movement in France. Is there an American counterpart?
Here is some information about them;
Badge MJCFLe Catholic Youth Movement of France (MJCF) is an association of young Catholics through various activities intended for personal sanctification by means of the apostolate. [1] It was founded in June 1970 [1] and publishes the journal Knowledge and Serve [1].
The proposed activities are training in small groups, and holiday activities. The MJCF is open to all young people between 16 and 25 years. The MJCF has a chaplaincy which he uses for his spiritual guidance. It consists exclusively of priests celebrating Mass in the Tridentine rite. [2]
The MJCF became known more recently, along with other Catholic association in opposing plays christianophobes considered [3] or inter-religious dialogue. [4]
The badge [edit] The badge represents the Sacred Heart of Jesus lying on a compass itself arranged on a black background. The black background symbolizes the world, sin, the darkness of error. The wind rose, yellow, represents the light of Truth, Christ.
