MO is that it is blasphemous to assert that Card Rampolla( close friend & confidant of Popes Leo, Pius & Card Raphael) was a freemason. I doubt he was legally elected. It is the Freemason Franz- Joseph that tries to 'veto' Rampolla

Possibly blasphemous is a little to strong of a term-- nearly blasphemous is probably more accurate.

The word "Blasphemy" is used in regard to words or speech directed against God, not "Cardinals".

Now, note the use of quoting funciton, here is where you enter the fray, correctly noting something to Roscoe is his haze of  :smoke-pot:

Bear in mind, Rampolla-Freemason is not a sparse rumor, but one with some teeth for a long time, following him into death and to this day...

Improved, but will likely, never get back the gift of writing I enjoyed so much....its frustrating to not want to write or, sitting there and cannot put things together you see in your mind. Embarrasing the word finding thing, you go to say something and it comes out either wrong or not what was intended. Makes you feel like an idiot and angry too.

Physically, surgery corrected the problem, but I still cannot get back the sharpness of writing, thinking that I had prior. Give me a topic and I coul coherently, logically and persuasively, write more then Hobbles or Neil usually do.

many wanted me to go to law school.....perhaps I should have, but then, would be up a creek now......

Thanks for your kind response, gotta go, work is piling up!!!

Card Rampolla-- Grand Master of knights of Malta( b4 they were corrupt), Sec of State to Pope Leo, Arch-priest of Vatican Cathedral( personal custodian of the relics of St Peter), Chmn of Pontifical Commission on Biblical Studies, Prefect of Vatican Library( post later held by Ratti).

An attack on Rampolla is an attack on Popes Leo, Pius and Card Raphael & therefore on the Church herself.

It is Freemason Franz-Joseph who Pius IX would have ex-communicated , but for political circuмstances.

Pulling up someone on their grammar makes you feel like you have the moral high ground what a big man you are! You're absolutely NOTHING AT ALL. You're still a little baby grovelling to his mummy for another feed. Divine providence is nasty isn't it belloc!
 :roll-laugh1:

Grammar is important if one is wanting to get a message across clearly.

Thank you for your explanation, Belloc.

Innit, please do not blaspheme here.
