  • As Bp. Fellay approaches the official announcement of his prelature deal, Menzingen and the District Superiors are nervously watching the xSPX faithful more closely than ever before.

To mold and unify political thought among the priests and faithful, Menzingen issues bi-monthly "talking points" to the District Superiors, which are fed to the chapel priests.

Therefore, if you assist at xSPX Sunday Masses, listen closely for Menzingen's "talking points" embedded within the sermons.

This week's talking points at a large N. CA xSPX chapel centered around: "cheap parishioners, money, tithing and the old Church standard of staying loyal to your Diocese parish".  (Meaning, it is illicit to attend non xSPX TLM chapels).

If you get an orthodox sermon on the Faith, that's great.

Otherwise, try to filter the political content from their Sunday sermons.

You may conclude Menzingen's message is one of fear, of more chapel unrest, as found in the Post Falls and Phoenix chapels.

  • What logic do SSPX'ers use to keep Thier flock from going to other insult chapels when they join the novus ordo? Thier parishioners would be correct in going to any old indult using current SSPX "reasoning."

  • +Fellay is staying at our chapel for three days for Confirmations. I think Fr. said Monday night, Nov. 7th, he will have a conference of sorts and talk about what's going on with the Rome and will be answering questions.

So in case anyone wants in, if you're in the area of 26 Mile and Romeo Plank, feel free to pop in. Consider this your official invite lol.

The goal is to mortally weaken Traditionalism by getting the nsspx into the bowels of new-rome.  After that, I don't think they care.

    1)  Where exactly is that chapel?

    2) If +Fellay is planning to do Q & A, it will be an all time first.  Because I do not recall that he has ever come among the sspx faithful to conduct such an event, at least not out in the open for all to watch and witness.

    3)  I can not believe that the SG will ever outline clearly for the people what the nature of a new sspx prelature might be.  Let's see if I'm wrong.

    4)  My impression of +Fellay is that he always acts secretively and clandestinely.  Can he, and will he, abandon that MO?  I doubt it.

    5)  If such an event occurs, it is my hope that someone will have the courage to ask of him how exactly he plans go carry forward with the original Lefebvrian mission, or if he intends to make major changes in that mission. i.e. What are the goals of the sspx today, and do those goals justify the apostolate's continued existence?

That's really all I know since that's all he said from the pulpit yesterday. I plan on going but won't know that for sure till the 7th.

Was that in Los Gatos this weekend?

I thought we only got browbeaten about money here in Phoenix!

Why are they berating the faithful about money up there?

Do you think the SSPX might be suffering from closed wallets of protest all over the USA, due to the Resistance?

    This is an interesting concept....

  • A couple more points might be inserted for +Fellay to address there in MI.  People might ask him about other statements he has made in the past, but never explained:

    (from above)

    6) "In 2012 you told pool reporters that Vatican II  was not what many think it was.  You seem to be at odds with the Archbishop's view of the Council.  Can you explain to us then exactly what V2 was really all about and how we can now better understand and appreciate it?"

    7) "Your Excellency, in 2014, in Kansas, you called Frances a "genuine modernist."  Can you explain what you meant by that?"

    8)  "Excellency, it's been almost 15 years since you declared that 95% of V2 was OK, but you have never elucidated upon that remark.  Would you do so now?

    9)  "Bp. Fellay, in 2009, after the infamous Williamson interview, you declared that the Jєωs are "our elder brothers" in that we both share the same Old Covenant.  Could you more clearly explain to us exactly what you meant?"

You see, folks, this is why I don't think that +Fellay will ever subject himself to a Q & A environment in which anyone with an ounce of guts might demand of him answers to these kinds of questions.

  • Chapel Faithful Question:
"Your Excellency... is Maximilian Krah still under contract with the Society ?"

"Uhm... Maximilian Krah.... where have I heard that name before ?"

The voice of experience... Dr. Holly?   :detective:

I once heard of some crazy trad guy, facing down a crowd of 300 salivating xSPX trads in Post Falls.

They were going to ceremonially throw him "out of the choir loft", but his stark courage
    calmed their neo-trad passions.

I think I know what event you're referring to.  But the "crazy trad guy" was not threatened with being thrown out of the choir loft.  We were downstairs and no where near the choir loft upstairs.  Furthermore, it was not Bp. Fellay whom we were facing off with that evening.  It was the arrogant and incompetent Fr. Rostand, who, quite wisely, was pulled by Menzingen, (I guess), and sent home.  I guess they figured it was time to insert a German.

Yeah, 'cause if a Frenchman can't soothe irate midwestern Americans, surely sending a German will improve matters...

Someone should ask him when/if he signed the Roman "Profession of Faith" and Oath of Fidelity to the Pope which has always been "non negotiable". Be ready for a 2-3 hour talk until the place is almost empty.
