  • Meanwhile, in France, SSPX priests attended the first Mass of a newly ordained priest of the Institute of Christ the King on September 13:

Somehow, it is difficult for me to picture Archbishop Lefebvre attending an FSSP Mass.

  • Considering that the new 'priest' had been 'ordained' by Cardinal Burke who himself was both 'ordained' and 'consecrated' in the new rites this participation by SSPX in an invalid Mass is disgraceful and, objectively at least, gross idolatry and sacrilege.

  • I heard today that SSPX seminarians will be allowed to spend time in Novus Ordo seminaries. Some sort of exchange programs in the pipeline?

This Kentucky issue is a bad diversion. I wish it could be side-stepped somehow.

AJNC, could you elaborate on your rather cryptic remark above?  A number on this forum, I think, are either directly associated with the "Resistance" in KY, or are at least in sympathy with it.  So how can this KY issue be a "bad diversion?"  What would you like folks to focus on presently?
You probably saw Fr. Hewko's sermon today, 9/27/15.  In it he refers to the tough times that the "seminary" is experiencing there presently, but, somehow, they must go on through thick and thin.  Must they?
It is my understanding that there really is no seminary in Boston, KY, because there are virtually no seminarians.  Fr. Voigt just left the "Resistance," so, apparently, there are just Frs. Hewko and Pfeiffer on the premises, i.e.when they're on campus, along with Paul Hernandez, about whom little good is said or reported.  I think KY is a major issue in the minds of some. Apparently though, you think it only a diversion.  Interesting to say the least!

There are still priests in the SSPX who are not happy with what is happening there. The information I posted came to me from a priest. Will he be inclined to make contact with the Resistance/KY after all that's going on at the moment?.
Maybe I just cannot find the words to articulate what I want to say. Here you have a controversial figure who manages to obtain funds to keep a seminary going as well as to fund Mass circuits throughout the world, yet the controversies he is involved in may well destroy both the seminary and the circuits. About six years ago the SSPX Priory at Vasai, Greater Mumbai, where he was stationed, went into the ground.

Is this "controversial figure" Fr. Pfeiffer or someone else?  These are, apparently, ongoing "controversies he is (still) involved in.  I must assume that this is some other SSPX priest who apparently destroyed the work in Greater Mumbai six years ago, and is continuing to do his destructive work six years later.   But it is not Fr. Pfeiffer, right?

    Yes it's him.
