  • Several weeks ago I got into it with several forum members over the apparently upcoming "agreement" between the SSPX and Rome.

Today was the "line in the sand" moment for me personally. Appointing a heretic to head the Congregation to insure doctrinal orthodoxy simply defies logic. The SSPX must not enter into an adulterous relationship with this cabal of modernists. I had thought, or hoped, that the pope really wanted to reintegrate Tradition into the Church. Today's appointment is crystal clear as to where his loyalties lie: namely with the Second Vatican Council.

My thanks to those who helped me see my way through this.

  • Roland-

The nice thing about this website is that, aside from intemperate posts from some, it seems to attract a fair share of people who know what they're talking about.

I have had to retract on more than one occassion.
Rom 5: 20 - "But where sin increased, grace abounded all the more."

  • Good for your Roland; this is definitely a sign of Good Will. These issues aren't black and white, but we should all eventually be able to see that they're blacker than white. I too took my time. I hoped this might be a good thing but after studying the issue, couldn't deny that it was bad either.

Its easy to tell that 25 + 25= 50; but figuring out that 4x9+134-29/3+345x23-432-34/4-2087.5 also equals 50 only takes more effort. If you can do it immediately, thats great. But there's nothing wrong with making sure you're right.

  • I'd like to thank you, Roland, for your admission. I had missed your prior exchange
so I went back and read it. What has happened to you could be very good for
others in the same situation, because there are a lot of SSPX supporters who
favor +Fellay out of simple loyalty, without having any satisfaction of the
specifics that they desire to know about the Preamble and the negotiations, or, that
they think if these things are not made public, then it's our place to trust our
ecclesiastical representatives to do the right thing.

But now, the appointment of Muller to head the CDF as Levada retires has hit you
hard, for it shows where Benedict XVI is really going with all this.

Actions speak louder than words, is the moral of the story.

So anyone whose friend is holding out and "just waiting" for news, and "suspending
judgment" without knowledge of the Preamble, should tell their friend about this
new election, making sure it's clear this is a public, notorious heretic who is being
promoted to oversee the agreement with the SSPX.

When they ask, "But how could he be a heretic and still get appointed -- you must
be reading that on the Internet  .. HAHAHAHA," that's when all you need to say is
that Muller's record of heresy is known worldwide, he has never denied it, he has
never abjured it, and he shows no sign of letting up. Normally it's the Church's job
to identify heresy, but now, in this age of DIABOLICAL DISORIENTATION, it is left
up to the faithful to learn who is practicing heresy, because the Pope has been
keeping up the BAN on condemnation of error ever since October 11th, 1962, and
NOW, we're going to have a 50 year anniversary party in Rome over the great day
when this whole charade was (officially) STARTED!

They might not want to listen that long, so you might have to develop sound bytes!
    .--. .-.-.- ... .-.-.- ..-. --- .-. - .... . -.- .. -. --. -.. --- -- --..-- - .... . .--. --- .-- . .-. .- -. -.. -....- -....- .--- ..- ... - -.- .. -.. -.. .. -. --. .-.-.

I don't believe it was quite that complicated!  But always happy to have more on board for the fight.  May God bless and reward all who sincerely seek the Truth WITH the Truth.

But one thing is necessary. Mary hath chosen the best part, which shall not be taken away from her.

  • It's unbelievable, but true.  In anticipation of the so-called "Year of Faith," Benedict XVI appointed a heretic as Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.  This is like St. John Bosco's vision of the pillars in reverse.  In that vision, the ship was anchored to the pillar of the Blessed Sacrament and to the pillar of Our Lady.  By appointing Muller, who denies the Body and Blood of Christ and the perpetual virginity of Our Lady, Benedict XVI has cut the ties to those pillars.  What will become of the ship now?

I, also, hoped for regularization of the SSPX.  I see now that it simply is not possible.
