Hollingsworth:  What you said, is so right!  I couldn't have said it better.  Chapter 12 of Daniel

I had a few misgivings about saying those things.  But the evidence seems to mount up against much, if any blessing remaining upon the Society.  In the decade we spent in our SSPX chapel, so many tragic and disgraceful things happened.  I don't care to enumerate them here.  Enough to wonder how some SSPX Catholics can continue to make excuses for this fallen organization. I ask God to have mercy upon me and to forgive me for any part  I may have played by my participation, and for any cowardice I may have displayed in not speaking out as I should have, or turning a blind eye.  I plead to Our Lord for the preservation of what remains of my faith and for the faith of all other  Catholics who have been hurt and discouraged by their experiences.  Surely Our Lady will help us, and plead with Her Son on our behalf, undeserving as we are.

  • Curious as to why the SSPX pastor priests seem so insistent -- as if it's some sort of entitlement -- on taking their annual vacation.  When queried they give the impression that it was somehow mandated(?!) by the archbishop and now by the SSPX in general.  Hmmm?  Interesting how the Patron of Parish Priests, St. John Vianney never once went on a retreat let alone a vacation in all his many long years working in the Lord's vineyard.   How in the world did that poor man manage to stay "balanced," let alone become so holy?
