Title: Martin Doughertys mother in car accident - car was totaled
Post by: Matthew on March 19, 2016, 02:35:32 PM: Martin Dougherty (Manuel Chavez on CathInfo) just called me, requesting that I post a prayer request on CathInfo for his mother.

He just received a call that his mother was in a car accident. All he knows is that her car was "totaled".

He is heading to the hospital now; apparently they wouldn't discuss her condition over the phone (!?)

I told him to focus on getting to his mother and taking care of her, and that I would post the prayer request on CathInfo.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

I've heard that damaged ligaments are worse than broken bones because bones can heal themselves and recover their strength. However with ligaments, depending on the damage can require numerous surgeries and even then the range of movement may never be the same. I of course am no medical doctor. My prayers are with your mother and your whole family.
