    That's sedevacantist.

From the front page of their website:" unless you have been attending the Latin Mass exclusively, you should refrain from receiving Holy Communion until you have had an opportunity to meet with Father."

How is the "meet with Father" provision of any significance when it is a livestreamed Mass where receiving communion isn't even a consideration?

I am not SV, though I admit I could be wrong, the see is either vacant or it is not, and there are also the materialiter-formaliter, sedeprivationist, and so on, schools of thought.  We will know for sure when Our Lord chooses to make things more clear.

In these circuмstances, and given that we are not "really attending Mass" when we view it online, I am not going to be all that picky about una cum or non una cuм.  I was just asking.

  • Seems a little strange, but if the Church would have traditionally accepted such a practice, there is probably nothing "wrong" with it.  Occasionally, the 1962 diocesan I attend (when I can) omits the reading of the Epistle and Gospel in English, going straight from the Latin Gospel to the homily.  This wouldn't be my preference, but I can live with it.  Many people who attend the TLM frequently have hand missals anyway.

Is this livestreamed Mass celebrated una cuм, or not?  Does anybody know?

Well, I disagree with the practice of omitting the Latin.  This is one more step towards the concept which culminated in the Novus Ordo that much of the Liturgy is merely for the consumption of the faithful in attendance rather than primarily the public prayer of the Church.  It also detracts from the Universality of the Mass so that French speakers go to a different Mass than English speakers.  Omitting the vernacular readings is no big deal.  There was one priest I knew who often omitted the English and told people that they can read along the English in their Missals and there's no need for that.

Since the title of the thread is "Live Resistance Masses for those at home," it might be a good idea to mention that your "Multiple Masses," is sedevacantist.

    Sedevacantist is not the Resistance.
"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."
