    That's my thinking too . Bishop Williamson normally would say the term "Resistance", or sometimes Resistants .

    However I feel there is a serious need for a term that includes anyone who refuses Vatican II , comdemns the New Mass. , loves the Traditional Latin Mass , prays for the Holy Pontiff , things of that sort .
    Trad Inc is the media side of this concept , but the Trad groups and Faithful could be called Trad Ilk . I posted this a few weeks ago . It would not be necessary to say: "only blurry in your head sweetie".
    Some recently talked about + Morgan as a loser of sorts . Is Vigano Resistance?Redemptorists? How can we clarify the Splits? Communication is vital , so we can more easily practice charity .

    The OP should define what he means by “Resistance.” Some people think of all Latin Masses as resistance—-against the novus ordo. Others draw the line at excluding indult and FSSP, others include SSPX.     Well real "Resistance" would be the steadfast defense of the true Catholic Faith, characterized by:
    -Unyielding rejection of all errors of the New Religion and the Conciliar Church, without justification, rationalization, or selective tolerance.
    -Absolute fidelity to the Traditional Mass and sacraments, never conceding that the Novus Ordo can build or sanctify the soul.
    -Courageous clarity in doctrine, refusing ambiguity, compromise, or silence when truth is threatened.
    -Loyal support only for priests and bishops fully faithful to Tradition, not for those who compromise with error, for convenience, or for personal alliances.
    -No participation in compromised structures or agreements with modernist Rome before Rome returns to Tradition.
    -An uncompromising orientation toward the salvation of souls, rather than protecting institutions, reputations, or appearances.
    -Firm Rejection of Sedevacantism.

    • Bishop Morgan and Bishop Vigano are both resistance Bishops.
    Regardless of different opinions on things.
    They both disobey Modernist Rome (thats a good thing!) and both are of Bishop Williamsons line.

    On Sedevacantism, I am not  a sedevacantist, but Tradition has always tolerated sedevacantism as a legitimate theological opinion. Most priests did not go in for it because of a number of inconsistencies in it. Father Ringrose was always a sedevacantist and yet Bishop Williamson chose his chapel for the consecration of Bishop Z.

    It only became such a boogey man in the 90s as certain liberal elements wanted to bring the SSPX into Rome. Sedevacantism has to be demonized because there is no way you would convince a sedevacantist to join modernist Rome.  People who are rigidly against it need to remember that.

    I also think about that when I think Resistance, formed in 2012. when NeoSSPX started. Maybe it should be called OldSSPX, I agree it needs some different name. I would only add that sedevacantism maybe be possible, archbishop Lefevbre said that many times and bishop Williamsom said that during Francis pontificate that he may not be pope. Both of them treated postconciliar popes as true popes in practical order, and said that one day future holy pope would make that judgement after the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Holy Mary.

    Fr. Chazal also said that sedevacantists are part of the Christ's Church, they have a theological opinion. But not one trad cleric or laymen has authority to impose theological positions on anyone in the Church. Theologians who hold ipso facto loss of office due to public heresy, they stated that is only theoretical, probable opinion not a definitive Church teaching.
    We are stuck either way, only God's miraculous intervention could solve this crisis.
