Translation into English (I am an amateur, so : be lenient to me about possible inaccuracies, thank you, or find another person who will translate it in a better way):

    Menzingen, March 7th 2013

    To all the members

    Your Excellencies, Superiors, Dear colleagues,

An undertaking of subversion has just been disclosed inside the Society. For several months, anonymous letters were put online and were sent by post to members of our Society in order to discredit the authority. The website “Antimodernisme.info” and the website “lasapiniere.info” which claimed to be part of “the patronage of the Society of Saint Pius X” spread out those docuмents, as well as attacks against several members.

The 28th of February, has been published a so-called “Letter of 37 priests of the District of France”. Actually, this is the work of a handful of priests decided to see the Society break up, especially by demanding the resignation of the Superior General and his assistants, by resorting to slander, detraction, hodgepodges, known as tools of misinformation. Father de Cacqueray denounced this destructive process to his priests.

In close collaboration with Bishop Williamson, Father Olivier Rioult is the master of this undertaking of insubordination, along with Father Nicolas Pinaud and Father Mathieu Salenave. They have the support of some other priests, several of them have already been expelled from the Society for subversive actions, being helped by lay people very experienced in the use of the Internet, harnessing some forum discussions in a seditious end. Nothing can make those priests back up and they are decided to continue to the end.

In order to fully confound those agitators who lose the view of the obligations of their priestly vocation, they were told today that they were relieved from every ministry and that they had to move to separate priories. An ecclesial lawsuit will be held against them, unless they want to keep disobedient, and in that case, they will be excluded from the Society.

Some new attacks are already planned by those stray priests. Especially, they have the intention to publish, very soon, the docuмent of the doctrinal declaration of April 15th 2012, that Bishop Fellay sent to Cardinal Levada. Bishop Williamson has just mailed it to them for that end [publication]. Anyway, you will find this text in the next Cor Unum, with all the explanations and all the additional docuмents which will give you a complete knowledge of this matter that kept us busy last year. As usual, those revolted priests want to present those docuмents as a proof of the betrayal and the “rallying of Menzingen” to modernism, the novus ordo mass and the conciliar errors. Each and every one will be able to make the difference between the information and the set up anonymous intoxication. The last Cor Unum began to publish the answers of our Superior during the winter 2011-2012 ; the Easter Cor Unum will continue this clear and calm work of information.

In this time of Lent, but also preparation of the consecration of the Society to Saint Joseph, patron of the Roman Catholic Church, be assured of my faithful and respectful priestly devotion.

    Father Christian Thouvenot

  • Bishop Williamson was right: It is going to be a bumpy ride!

Notice Bishop Fellay only opts to make what is sure to be a scandalous April 15, 2012 declaration known to he priests upon a threat that Bishop Williamson plans to release it first!

    Exactly my thoughts, Seraphim.

Hang on tight for the next episode: "The 30 pieces of silver & Bishop Judas Fellay".

This is going to be a BIG one.

They're already trying to justify the unjustifiable when they say: "Anyway, you will find this text in the next Cor Unum, with all the explanations and all the additional docuмents[/b] which will give you a complete knowledge of this matter that kept us busy last year."

The house is falling apart Bp. Judas...

Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you are like to whited sepulchres, which outwardly appear to men beautiful, but within are full of dead men's bones, and of all filthiness. So you also outwardly indeed appear to men just; but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Matthew 23:27

I also find this very interesting.

It is so like Vatican II -they provide an official text- then they have to give "footnotes" to explain what it means..."with all of the explanations".

Additionally, how did Fr. Thouvenot know that their docuмent would even be a remote possibility of a rallying cry of proof "to present those docuмents as a proof of the betrayal and the “rallying of Menzingen” to modernism, the novus ordo mass and the conciliar errors.", if there wasn't something of the sort in there to believe it to be so?

Modernism is a fogged mirror of illusion...

  • I wonder on what basis Fr. Thouvenot/Menzingen can prove their claim Bishop Williamson mailed the resistance a copy of the doctrinal preamble signed by Bishop Fellay?

Interesting that Bishop Williamson would not address the matter himself, yet it does not arise in any of his recent conferences or sermons.

    Hmmm....

I wonder the same.  Has it been proven beyond reasonable doubt that Bp. W mailed out the Doctrinal Preamble?  Fr. Thouvenot treats it as a foregone conclusion.

Wasn't Mons Williamson excluded from the General Chapter??? I hardly think that Bishop Fellay would have mailed him a copy of the doctrinal preamble! Even if a copy was given to him by some well-wisher, why does Fr Thouvenot accuse Bishop Williamson, without any proof. It seems to me that the tone of his letter is very aggressive, and some of his comments absolutely ridiculous.

  • And if he did? Maybe it was the right thing to do, so the faithful could see how we were thrown under the bus; and possibly escape before being totally mowed down.

When has the clergy of Bp. Fellay's Church ever been anything other than ridiculous?
