  • At the 12:30 p.m. Mass in Saint Marys, KS there was a priest whom we are not familiar with. He gave a very crafty sermon. Much of it I said "Oh, yes, that's me" and then he'd twist it in such a way as to tell us we shouldn't be thinking for ourselves. We are not theologians. He called us false prophets if we try to think for ourselves and figure out what God's Will is regarding how to safeguard our faith in these times. That is what we got out of it. I asked around about who this priest is but nobody knew. Some actually said they liked the sermon but to us it was a well devised sermon to undermine and manipulate our Faith. Much like what Father Pfeiffer said several weeks ago. They think of us as stupid sheep and we need to just shut up and follow them. We wouldn't be traditional if we were not always alert. Deo Gratias!

    Thanks for the report.
It confirms Bp. Fellay's ongoing political tactics to undermine the SSPX resistance.
For the record, it would be good to discreetly record such sermons.
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi
