Ipsa Conteret, a new publication for the SSPX Resistance, has been unveiled to the world with Issue #1.
Ipsa Conteret means "she shall crush" in Latin. Obviously a reference to the Scripture, "She shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel." It is also the Episcopal motto for Bishop Faure, who is one of the 3 (soon to be 4) bishops that Ipsa Conteret fully supports.
And yes, the aim of Ipsa Conteret is to pick up where the Recusant (a.k.a. the "Wreckusant") left off. Back in 2012, 2013 the Recusant was an SSPX Resistance publication, containing news and articles pertaining to the Resistance: what is going on in the Resistance all over the world, the latest about the fall of the SSPX, resources, etc.
But since November 2014 (approximately when Fr. Pfeiffer fell from grace, and began attacking ALL priests and bishops who didn't submit to his authority), the Recusant became the Wreckusant, endeavoring to destroy any SSPX Resistance (bishops, priests, laity, chapels, websites) that wasn't "in communion" with Boston, KY and Fr. Pfeiffer's outfit. Just picture a wrecking ball aimed at the Resistance, trying to demolish everything.
I realize that calling names CAN BE a sign of having no valid argument, being childish, etc. but not always. I don't normally call names, but "the Wreckusant" really seems to fit in this case. They are trying, with Fr. Pfeiffer, to dial-back the SSPX Resistance to 2012, when Fr. Pfeiffer was the only game in town, and the head honcho to boot.
Today "The Recusant" is the most transparent of propaganda outlets for Fr. Pfeiffer. As such, it has become useless, and a void has been created.
Enter "Ipsa Conteret".
Dear Friends-
We are pleased to inform you that the new digital Resistance newspaper, "Ipsa Conteret," is now available online (gratis)!
The website address is: IpsaConteret.com
You can download the entire 49 page first issue, or view it on the IpsaConteret.com website, or pick/choose to read individual articles, and/or submit "Letters to the Editor."
I am hopeful this digital newspaper will be given a wide distribution, and that we will be able to sustain the effort.
Regarding sustaining the effort, there are a few of us old battle-axes who have committed to see this project through, but the workload is significant (particularly for Samuel, the Editor and "Head Honcho," who actually made this project a reality).
A special note to the many clergy included in this blind distribution: Are you sick and tired of laymen (like yours truly) thinking we know what we are talking about? Then please pick up your pen and paper, and consider making a contribution.
If you don't want to have to listen to laymen, then make us listen to you!
A happy and blessed Easter to all, and we hope you enjoy this issue!
Semper Idem,
Sean Johnson (Sub-Editor/2nd Fiddle)
Finally, the mainstream, worldwide (non-Pfeiffer) SSPX Resistance has a publication that won't waste any of its pages attacking priests who are trying to provide Traditional Mass and Sacraments to the faithful!
"But Fr. Pfeiffer and Fr. Hewko seem to be a Resistance priests as well. They left the SSPX, and they certainly seem to be trying to run a Resistance operation. They are also providing valid, Traditional Mass and Sacraments to the faithful..."
...and that is why you don't hear Fr. Zendejas, Bishop Williamson, etc. preaching against them! But Fr. Pfeiffer & Co. doesn't return the favor.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that the priests being attacked by Fr. Pfeiffer's sect are guilty of only one real "sin": failing to submit to the "papal primacy" of Boston, KY. Anything else Fr. Pfeiffer's war machine cooks up is just that: cooked up. He and his stormtroopers swerve towards Sedevacantist positions (which are fine and dandy, but they aren't "Classic SSPX" or +ABL, which is what the SSPX Resistance is supposed to be), they twist words, they torture sermons written in a priest's second language, and even lie if it helps their cause.
