"In a recent sermon online by Fr Chazal, he foresaw few SSPX clerics or lay supporters awakening to its efforts to get the Personal Prelature it so desires in the near future.  The replacing of Bishop Fellay means no more 'Conflict Zone boo-boos' and yet the work towards a reconciliation will continue apace behind the scenes.

Whilst this means that few priests may feel brave enough to make a step in the right direction, fortunately one positive about the recent actions of Pope Francis and indeed some moral perversions of his Cardinals, has led to an influx worldwide of disaffected novus-ordo laity to the Resistance. With no links to the SSPX, these souls have found their way to the Resistance through social-political movements, pro-life or the on-line arguments of Bishop Williamson amongst others.

With this in mind a web site has been set up to educate those novus-ordo members leaning towards tradition to learn what we stand for and the truths of the Faith.

Whilst not perfect, this site is a good example of an apostolate not geared towards Resistance vs SSPX, or aimed at pleasing those already involved, but for those searching for answers to the crisis in the modern Church. Let us hope for its success."

  • This apostolate will only be a success if the Resistance Bishops force these novus ordo "priests" to be conditionally re-ordained and to be given a test period to make sure their seminary training was adequate.  If they do anything less, than the Resistance will be slowly changed by the influx of modernistic ideas brought by the former novus ordo "priests", which problem led to the neo-sspx's current state.

  • Maybe Bishop Williamson does not want people to stop believing in Jesus to become atheists.

And what kind of apostolate doesn't oppose mortal sin? Vatican II was created to destroy the Church to make room for one world religion which denied Jesus Christ.   There should be a resistance to mortal sin.  (And there should be resistance to modern art and architecture which doesn't honor God.

  • I don't enforce this new apostate because it's mission rejects the teachings of the Catholic Church which includes Moral Theology.   After all the sodomy and pedophilia within novus ordo, SSPx and independent chapels, resisting immorality should be included; but instead it is rejected.

Would any of the FIVE down thumbs on this post care to add a comment? I'd like to know what was so disagreeable about it.

It's interesting that the site is geared towards Novus Ordo Catholics. This seems to follow Fr. Chazal's formula, in that he looks for converts to Tradition (Resistance) from the Novus Ordo folks, rather than from SSPX adherents.

It's nice, too, that the new site doesn't aim to please those already involved (which is nearly impossible to do, it seems to me), but rather...."for those searching for answers to the crisis in the modern Church."

I do indeed hope for its success.

I too have to wonder, as Mater does, as why all the down thumbs to St. Patrick's comment on this thread. His comment is quite good.
"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

  • Am I to understand that Fr. Chazal is working toward a reconciliation with the rest of the Catholic Church?

It would seem that you haven't really paid attention to what has been written in the OP.
