    My advice to anyone still attending there or any other sspx chapel:  Get out!  Find an independent chapel somewhere.  Or simply stay home; say 15 decades of the Rosary daily; wear the Brown Scapular; read from the lives of the saints; read your Bible; and, oh yes, read a selection from the Poem from time to time.  You know, those things which the good bishop has told us to do.

    Perfection does not exist in any chapel - whether it be SSPX or independent. There are always problems. Fallen human nature is everywhere. I, for one, am not going to stay home on a Sunday, though I would not ever judge anyone else for doing so. That's not my place.

    The priests from Post Falls who serve the chapel that I attend are only human. I don't expect perfection from anyone, except for Our Lord and Our Lady.

    It's clear that they already had them, it's just a matter of not cooking the frog too rapidly ma'am/miss.

    At my would have been fiancee's parish, at the risk of further charges of "impurity", the parish staff were teaching young girls such lovely dance moves as "The Booty Push.", in plain view, out of doors.

    Then there are the bikini car wash fund raisers...

    But, I'd better zip up my 'depraved digital mouth' before the purity po-po show...

    Maybe if I just had photos like here? I don't get it.

    • Sad, but I've discovered people ignore printed requests to respect dress codes.  Since I've never been to a wedding that the couple stayed together I simply don't go to weddings any longer.  Ditto for most non mandatory church, family, and social events.  It's impossible for me as a single, senior woman to exert any positive influence, so I stay home.

    Politics and proper nouns aside miss/ma'am but even, and perhaps especially, the silent examples of many have aided me much though not quite always as they should have, or to the degree.

    Also, a short tale;

    There once was a stonecutter meticulously flattening the very top of a steeple, right where the crucifix rests.

    Another, seeing this, said to him, "Why do you waste so much time and effort on something that will only be limed, and none will see?"

    I  can attest to this...

    I spent quite a few years helping to build and maintain churches, I learned that on medieval churches the backs of the heads of gargoyles were sculptured with the same miniscule detail that you could only see from the front side.

    Pretty amazing, when you think about it...
