One can gain a Plenary Indulgence for a soul in Purgatory everyday if they do a group rosary, like a with the family at home or at the church with other faithful IFthey do an additional Our Father, Hail Mary , and Glory Be for the pope.
In my SSPX chapel, when the priests lead the rosary, they never do the prayers for the pope, nor have they taught the people about the plenary indulgence. Therefore, the only persons gaining the plenary indulgence are those that do it themselves in silence.
Do all the SSPX priest not do the prayers for the pope?

No, and it's a crying shame.

No, and it's a crying shame.
How about in the SSPX seminary that you went to, did they do it there?

Not that I recall. But that was, what, 29 years ago now. Man I'm getting old.
-
Does anyone knew the origin of this indulgence? Also, I remember it being taught it was for the pope's intentions, not directly for the pope himself. Although, I'm sure God isn't going to quibble about one or the other.

By their deeds you shall know them.

Yes, for the intentions of the pope. I offer it up for his conversion and return to the pure faith and sacred doctrines.

Prümmer in his Manuále (vol. III, no. 556) says that ‘Intentions of the Holy Father’ which we pray for in the course of obtaining an Indulgence are a five-fold set which tradition (and the former Congregations) have fixed as such, namely:
1. Exaltátio S. Matris Ecclésiæ (The triumph/growth of holy mother the Church),
2. Extirpátio hærésum (The rooting out of heresy),
3. Propagátio fídei (The propogation of the Faith)
4. Convérsio peccatórum (The conversion of sinners),
5. Pax inter príncipes christiános (Peace among Christian rulers).

Yes!! :)
I wish more people realized this is what we are praying for when we say "for the ‘Intentions of the Holy Father'" to gain Indulgences.

Well, I wouldn't judge them based on what could be faulty memory on my part.

With the current putative Holy Father being most in need of #2 and #3 ... and perhaps #4.

They do the prayers for the pope every time at my SSPX chapel.
-
At my chapel, the Pater, Ave and Gloria are said for the Pope’s intentions after the Rosary. It is led by the Holy Name Society, as the Rosary is said before Mass when the priests are hearing confessions.

The priests do not lead a rosary every day during the week?

Not only do the SSPX priests in my chapel NEVER do the prayers for the pope at the end of the rosary, but also on First Saturdays they NEVER do the prayers for the pope AND also habitually lead the rosary omitting the beginning of the rosary which is the Creed, the three Hail Mary's and the Glory Be or omit the Hail Holy Queen at the end. They have absolutely no respect for Our Ladies requests for first Saturdays prayers. It's the Novus Ordo all over again, each priest inventing his own ways.
