More Importantly, TKGS, why would you send anyone you cared about to an SSPX website-- or to any SSPX literature, in the hopes that they will find, and appreciate, tradition? You are setting them up to be lost, confused, cheated and, ultimately, devastated. Look at what Fellay and his cronies are doing all over the world ( Cath Info is full of information as to the nasty way the SSPX is treating traditionalists in every country). Even if your relative learned to appreciate and love tradition, sitting in an SSPX chapel he/she will be slowly boiled over into a modernist-- the same type down at the local Novus Ordo Ecclesia Dei Church.Father Goldady in Ridgefield is telling the Holy Name men they can fulfill their Sunday obligations at the local Novus Ordo Church; SSPX has told married Catholics to "get your annulments in the Novus Ordo, then come back here and receive the sacraments", and to annulled partners, they say " Get married at the Ecclesia Dei Church, then come back here as man and wife"; Father Burfitt is telling people that "there is no such thing as a Conciliar Church and a Catholic Church-- we are one!"
How would you reconcile that with the Archbishop , who was excommunicated by the conciliar church, and who stated he had no "desire to belong to the conciliar church"-- He was a member of the Roman catholic Church? How would you then try to explain the confusion your dear friend then had? "Join the SSPX-- only to be sent back into the wolves den in Rome?"
It would be far better to refer your dear friend to Father Ringrose or father Patrick Girouard-- then they will get thoroughly Catholic advise.
