…a better way of approaching our temptations, instead of asking our Lord to take them away, which gives us the impression that Jesus enters into our life to take away our temptations so that we can then fix ourselves and eventually be worthy of Him to come back and enter in, is to simply invite our Lord into our temptation and into our thoughts in the present moment; to say, “Jesus, I want to look at pornography right now”, or, “Jesus, I’m having an impure thought right now. You’re welcome into my imagination. You’re welcome to watch these thoughts with me.” Because as we do that, the light of Christ can enter into our imagination, and His light scatters the darkness. In that moment in which we’re feeling unlovable or we’re feeling a need for love, that need is responded to by He [sic] who is Love, the Person who is Love, our Lord Jesus Christ. And it’s with His help that we can put our lives back in order again and live and love as we should. It’s a reminder to us that we’re never alone, that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and we can do nothing without Him.[color][size][font]

And since you are so powerful with God,[color][size][font]
deliver me from all temptations,
or at least obtain for me the strength
to overcome them until death.
…as soon as a temptation against chastity presents itself, the remedy is to turn instantly to God for help, and to repeat several times the most holy names of Jesus and Mary, which have a special virtue to banish bad thoughts of that kind. I have said immediately, without listening to, or beginning to argue with the temptation. When a bad thought occurs in the mind, it is necessary to shake it off instantly, as you would a spark that flies from the fire, and instantly to invoke aid from Jesus and Mary.[color][size][font]

And Jacob said: O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, O Lord, who saidst to me: Return to thy land and to the place of thy birth, and I will do well for thee, I am not worthy of the least of all thy mercies, and of thy truth which thou hast fulfilled to thy servant. (Gen 32:9-10)[color][size][font]
And king David came and sat before the Lord, and said: Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that thou shouldst give such things to me? (1 Para [1 Chron] 17:16)
What is a man that thou shouldst magnify him? or why dost thou set thy heart upon him? (Job 7:17)
And the centurion making answer, said: Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldst enter under my roof: but only say the word, and my servant shall be healed. (Mt 8:8)
I will arise, and will go to my father, and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee: I am not worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. (Lk 15:18-19)
BTW this video disturbed me. Yeah, even me. I'm bothered that the SSPX would promote this guy.
Probably technically off topic but does anyone have a source on why Theology of the Body itself is problematic? I've seen Novus Ordo Watch critique it, but I don't know much about it.Catholic Family News did a great critique a while ago. Google will have plenty of options.

Here's a fictitious question and answer between me (LT) and Bp. Fellay (BF) about the Novus Ordo "priest" Kilcawley giving a lecture at an SSPX Conference on Family. :
LT: How is it possible that you Bp. Fellay are going to allow this perverted, theology of the body trash spreader to speak at an SSPX family conference (show him examples of what he has taught)?
BF: He is not giving a lecture on Theology of the Body, why are you calumniating against the good man, his subject has nothing to do with theology of the body, he is giving a lecture on the dangers of the internet.
LT: Well, if that is your mindset, why don't you invite Bp. Williamson to lecture on how the ladies should dress?
BF: Bp. Williamson is our adversary, why would we invite him?
LT: First, because he is your brother bishop, and most of all, because he does not make a living from spreading the immoral filth that this so-called priest Kilcawley does? I think you are one confused man to invite the likes of a Kilcawley, and call him a good man, while at the same time saying that you would not invite Bp. Willamson because he is your adversary. It is this Kilcawley who is your real adversary, and you are bringing him to teach (poison) your flock? This is very telling. Don't be surprised if everyone walks out of his conference or that few attend your conference at all.
Our first thoughts too. This guy with a questionable history, bad teaching and uncomfortably effeminate NO manners is invited and promoted but Bishop Williamson is uranium and forbidden from publishing a newsletter. It is really very hard to believe even though it's right there before our eyes.

Dr. Kleponis is in business with Kilcawley! They are both on the faculty of Avila Institute for " mystagogically oriented spiritual education/formation". They work together for Integrity Restored presenting seminars on internet pornography all over the country. He is probably a partner with Covenant Eyes as is Kilcawley. It is a booming business!
I recall seeing some years ago that the Avila Institute promotes charismaticism. Do you know if "mystagogy" is associated with charismaticm? I've not heard of Dr. Kleponis before now.Actually Kilcawley is a sede vacantist.
I looked on the Avila Institute website, and their online courses teach something called "discernment of spirits" which is usually associated with charismaticism, and it appears to be a main focus of their coursework. But when I did a google search for "Fr. Sean Kilcawley, charismaticism" nothing came up. I think it's possible that Kilcawley is associated with charismaticism.
The Avila Institute uses beautiful paintings to decorate their website, which may lead one to believe that they are devout Catholics, but I'm pretty sure that that's not the case.
