Father and I would both like to emphasize that we are Traditional Catholics, keeping the pre-Vatican II liturgy, practices, morality, Mass, prayers, etc.
We know that the Church is in Crisis now, and the job for all true/Traditional Catholics -- both priests and laity -- is to keep the Faith. Unfortunately, right now that means working independently of the official (conciliar) church structures.
For the curious, Father was ordained by Bishop de Galarreta in 2000.
As an aside, here is how I determine where I should attend Mass:
Valid priest? Check.
Traditional? Check.
Working to build up the Church? Check.
Helping Catholics to keep the Faith by saying the Traditional Mass and liturgy? Check.
Well trained in pre-Vatican 2 Thomistic philosophy, theology, Canon Law, etc? Check.
Faithful to the rubrics and liturgy? Check.
No tendency to cultism or sectarianism? Check.
Desires to maintain a Catholic spirit, like Archbishop Lefebvre did? Check.
That's where my checklist ends. That's all I need to know about any priest.
